I do my digital art on an app on my iPad. The stylus I use is a thing I got
from the dollar store...that's also a shitty pen. XD
I've heard a lot of good things about the wacom stylus. How good is it and
would it be worth the investment?
+abbieco1 I absolutely agree! It's just that the OP sounds like someone with enough experience to put an Intuos to good work. But yeah, a smaller investment would be more sensible if they're new! :)
+AirborneB6 If you're starting out, it would be better to stick with a more simple tablet like a wacom bamboo because they're cheaper and easy to use. It's not a good idea to invest in an intuos until you've really got into digital art.
+Blazin'rants&commentaries Hey! If you're talking about the Fineline 2, it will improve a lot on what you have right now! It has pressure sensitivity, which you don't really get on the setup you have, and it is very important! Check the apps that support the stylus on the official page, and if you use one of them, I think it's worth the investment. Personally, If I were you, I'd shell out some extra money and buy an intuos (assuming you have a PC), as it is way more worth it for digital art purposes. It is way more precise, has programmable shortcut buttons, a nice, customizable UI, and all the functionality you might need!
what do you use to draw on the computer? I don't know how to phrase that
question haha. What's the thing you use the pen stylus with? Thanks!!
Awesome tutorial
Hey jazza, I notice you right click to change the brush size. I've gotten
into a bit of digital painting recently, I found it easier to hold Alt,
right click, press and drag (with pen stylus) left/right to alter the brush
size. and even up/down for the brush hardness.
I feel this is a quick and easier way to change the brush size, I hope you
consider this Tip! ^^
