Family called Sacramento sheriff for help, and deputy killed their son

There is such a thing as striking for compliance. Look it up in the
training manual. My guess (say that again "my guess"), is they exhausted
those methods of subduing the suspect, however they have the ability to use
what means they see fit & may have to justify it later. To say I need
professional help / an education is laughable just as is your comparison to
this situation to Nazi Germany. Here is a simple rule, don't do something
to have the police investigate. If so follow their instructions.
Bullshit. One male cop was on top of him with two others nearby , she did
not have to strike him , certainly NOT in the head. She's just a cunt
probably menstruating that day. Women shouldn't even be "police officers"
because it's a known fact scientifically proven that women are very
emotional especially that time of the month. She should rot in jail. If you
saw something like that done by thugs on the street you'd be shocked , but
if police is doing it you're trying to justify their idiocy.
Just because you on the ground with a officer on top of you does not mean
he is secure and in custody. Ever consider he had a knife, a gun? The very
fact he was not compliant raises the level of threat by the suspect. There
is a reason the pat down happens once the suspect is cuffed. Being on the
ground is NOT compliance. It is clear you and others here have issue with
peace officers simply for that fact. It really disappoints me that everyone
is quick to judge what they are not informed on.
I was sitting on my porch one night when a cop stopped to question a man
sitting on his porch across the street. The officer asked him for ID and
when the man stood up and reached to get his ID, the cop hit him in the arm
near the shoulder with the baton. All that man said was "why are you
harassing me?" That man complied with everything. That cop hit him about 5
times. Unfortunately for the cop, I seen the whole thing and just my
testimony was enough. He was fired and got 6 months in jail.
Just curious if you know the suspect was beating the crap out of the
officer and had a clear advantage on him before the female officer arrived?
The officer getting the crap beaten out of him was assisted by a bystander
who kicked the suspect in the head. The officer on the ground was trying to
cuff him. Please read the police report, the newspaper report (try
Sacramento Bee) and the corners report. Very likely this guy died from an
OD. But I will wait for judgement until that comes out.
We have issues with police officers holding someone on the ground and
beating the shit out of them with a baton...and in this case until they
die... If you are pinned to the ground just what kind of compliance are you
capable of for god's sake. This is dreadful, and is not serving or
protecting anyone except themselves for their desire to punish
someone...when the cops do this and get away with it we have a police
state...no different than the cops beating the Jews...because they could
You are not making any sense. You are suggesting that a cop sitting on top
of a suspect is enough restraint. So, just have him sit on him until his
arraignment? If he is resisting, and he can be with someone on his back,
what is the officer to do? Let him go and lose any advantage they may have?
The strikes were to get him to put his hands behind his back for cuffing.
If he tenses his arms up to prevent cuffing, that is resisting. Any
reasonable means for compliance is acceptable.....
2of2.. Video also exists from another cell phone, officers vehicle cameras,
Metro PCS security cameras, and one other source not named. 2 officers on
scene and 3 security guards. Pepper spray was used but was ineffective.
Torretti overpowered the first officer (caught on security cam), and was
beating the officer until a bystander kicked Torretti in the head. The
overpowered officer had to go to the hospital. This is found in the
Sacramento B as well as the statment from the corner.
Before you call someone an idiot, make sure you know your facts. Suspect
did not die from trauma. Read the newspaper, it will help you greatly. Go
to the Sacramento Bee (sacbee DOT com) search "No fatal trauma to body of
man who died after scuffle with police". Now, trauma being ruled out there
are two pending theories. 1) Drug overdose (2) Positional Asphyxia. Several
independent agencies involved in this. It won't get swept under the rug.
What happened in the video was justified.
2of2... That the suspect died is tragic and will be fully investigated. You
can expect that an outside agency will investigate perhaps even the FBI.
From the video, I do not see that the officer did anything wrong. As I have
said, there is video missing. I am going to give them the benefit of doubt
and so should you until the investigation is complete. Now, if I was jury
member based solely on this video, not guilty.
Well tell that to the victim's family...I am sure it will be some comfort
to them. Course if he were a man of means then the shit would hit the
fan...that is why they only beat the shit out of the little people...and
the investigation will be conducted by their brothers in arms against poor
bastards...and they will give it the same verdict that you gave
them....acted as trained...which is true and the problem itself.
LA Cops Fatally Shoot Suspect in Lakewood
The family of John Berry, a 29-year-old man killed by Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department in Lakewood, CA, have released video footage of the fatal ...
they spent the entire time hitting him and screaming at him, no attempt to
TALK him out of that car rationally. all leading up to murdering him. it is
sickening the way these cops "serve and protect their community." they
should all be prosecuted and fired.
+Officer_M67v he had a mental illness i know his mother she works at the school i go to she is a very nice lady. its crazy how big things can happen out of nowhere
+wldcherry55 You can actually hear the deputies yelling at him to get out. Maybe turning the car off and removing the keys is the best idea, but being in a situation like this, it is not easy to think straight.
