A Modular platform for Cars is the Only Innovative and Interesting Idea for consumers from this company ... As a consumer I would Love a Modular car where I can EASILY Switch out or Upgrade broken parts.

+dariowirtz special is that eh platform can be standard across the inductry. Like USB or PCI. Car manufacturers can now concentrate on the stuff other than core and spend less money.

GM tried this same platform design back in the 90's and it was modular as well. So, the idea is not new. GM abandoned this idea for electric vehicles when profitable medium and large SUV's became popular. It seems like there's a little bit of Tesla influence here too ,but that's alright.

+Carlos Malave A lot of people there come from Tesla, and GM canceled it due to battery technology being incredibly lame (and it sorta still is)

+J Bender Unfortunately, Porsche is still years away. Their concept car, it is on paper, just very slightly better than Tesla in very few categories. By the time the car comes out, Porsche will still be behind (There is no reason to believe Tesla just stops developing anything further).
