Well, we can shoot surplus ammo from the '60s or '70s, so close or over 50 years already and it works pretty good, as long as it was well sealed to keep the powder dry (as mentioned). So, 50 years is perfectly fine for me...Nonetheless, just like for food storage, I would definitely recommend to store what you use and use what you store. And therefor have some cycling to put the new stuff in the back of the storage.

Its hard to say an exact time frame. As long as the powder stay dry and the primers dont degrade the ammo should last over 100 years in a sealed can I would think?

I agree its very cool. I like the fact that it does the same job as a traditional entrenching tool and does actually chop like and axe decent enough for survival...but what sets it over the top is the storage ability and super spike option. I love tools that have multiple uses.

+oEnder0 Actually that happened to a cop in 2008, some guy was being arrested for DUI farted on the cop, the mentally retarded cop filed battery charges. The battery charges were quickly dropped and eventually the DUI charges were called into doubt by the cops abuse of power. SO no Farting is neither assault nor battery from what I understand. Maybe there are other cases where convictions were made, hard to say.
