Pictures are indeed worth a thousand words, and have a wonderful ability to
trigger memories. Video and music do as well. We are building a free app
for Alzheimer's patients and family members to help comfort and connect
with their loved one. We have an intro video on youtube. Search for
"Alzheimer's tablet app" and it should come up first. Please let me know if
you have any input. We've witnessed the progression of Alzheimer's in
family members, and want to help. Thanks! - Steve
Hello there! Thank you for this useful video. By the way, I hear lots of
people keep on talking about Fibromilorex Remedy (do a search on google),
but I'm not sure if it is really good. Have you tried home remedy called
Fibromilorex Remedy? I've heard some great things about it and my friend
completely cure his fibromyalgia safely with this remedy.
HI Adreline Thanks for writing. She played a little piano, but mostly liked
to sing. Music brings her alive, but I have found it does with most anyone.
Music is all emotionally based in our heads, so find some music of your
Grandfathers era, stuff he liked and just sit back and enjoy the ride. It
truly is magical. Good luck! Lori
Thank you for writing. There are several different clips on the site. Feel
free to use any of them. I'm sure I have written stories about music on the
blog too if you want to check that out go to AlzheimersSpeaks it's a com
and click on the blog you can search the archives once you are there. Good
luck with your paper! Lori
My mom's name is dorothy also (dotti the hottie we call her!) and also in
the final stage. i created a playlist of music she likes (alan jackson,
johnny cash, bobby vinton) and sometimes when we listen and i sing (badly!)
she tries to sing along! i cherish these small moments of pleasure she gets
from music!
The brain is the last thing to go. Usually AD patients die of conditions
secondary to Alzheimer's. It is important to stay active, eat and drink
water properly, and stimulate the neurons with extra brain exercise
activities. Education is the key to maintaining and preventing
Alzheimer's Disease.
HI Mitchell, Mom has been in her end stages for 4 years. We just did some
new video and she still reacts. Everyone in the industry is still shocked
she comes alive in these moments. It truly is something to watch and
experience. I think mom is hanging on to still give others hope of
connecting Lori
@HelloLithium Keep up the enthusiasm and vision. As a working music
