For eg. someone who is monetarily oppressed that cannot buy themselves an instrument. Institutions like what these people are a part of, keeps it like that. I advocate an RBE, not a free market, monetary based economy. As I can see, you are proud of your monetary gain, you've beaten the competition. I do not agree with this. Structural violence and income inequality is not a good thing for communities. I'm going way beyond labour for money. It doesn't work.

there is your problem. Career in a free market which doesnt work anymore or never will again. Try and think from a non monetary framework of reference. You really think things are going to turn around? Who is going to buy anything????

your solution is not viable for artists who actually want to make a career from music. And by career I mean money. If you're a hobbyist that just wants to play... then great, that works for you.The problem with your idea is how can you run a place like that, that people actually want to play in. Who's gonna pay security, bar staff or chefs? Because it would probably be non for profit, the quality of the venue won't be that great. So the serious bands will just find another venue anyway, going back to the start of the problem.If you just want to play music, there's many places that will have you no questions asked.It's called an open mic and pub.

well its going to change wether you like it or not. When all labor is displaced by automation, your idea of business is gonna be way worse than it already is. Like atm you are advocating the music business as though its working for everyone right now lol. i tried to give a solution and you just said, hey, ignore it and it'll work out.
