So a crack smoker and a gay walk into a bar, and the crack smoker is like,
Why are you gay? The gay says, Why do you smoke crack?. The crack smoker
then says, "I smoke crack because I lost my boyfriend to you."
This made 0 sense.
+boxtears Yeah that would be really cool. I think they should have gone all out on this game. Not scratch the surface of what they could do. They really where afraid of trying new things but it seems they have learned from there mistake and go deeper.

+Nicholas Audinet The whites were the gear head running the launch, that should be enough for everyone's racism. It hard for me to tell but I think there were Persian, Indian, Slavic and Anglo, didn't notice any black people though, African american or original.
+Mhmd Kewan Yes arabs are considered white, but why mention them, when there wasn't a single arab person in this trailer. There were indians, yes, but now arabs. Now everyone with a turban or veil is an arab.
+Shawn Ryle Hi, I think this game would actually be a very good choice for a new strategy player. It's simple enough that you won't get put off by it being over complicated and is generally a very fun game. If you like the look of it, definitely pick it up. Maybe you could get it in a sale to make it more worth it or look on G2A where it's probably quite cheap.
A nice cast!
On fiuture - do not dismiss so fast some dialog, so it is easier to read.
Also - make delays on hovering mouse on technology or buildings, so it can
be readed)
good call on the KP...i love playing with them..atm am trying a marathon
game with the biggest map possible. They are really good if you invest in
infrastructure.
I'd like for you to remember get expedition module you use them up.
Everytime I know you're gonna forget, haha. Lucky for you though, your
explorers will have two once you reach the first level on supremacy.
Tell me about it, I really need to break that habit haha.

This video is actually racially accurate. By 2060 alone white people will
be a significant minority in almost every country on earth. Never mind 2200
or whenever this game takes place. If white people actually start having
children, then this vid wont be so accurate.
In the year 1200 it looked like the entire Asian and European continent was going to become Mongol. Predictions only predict the future if nothing is done about it or if nature allows it.
+George Ramram This is when it takes place:"The story of the game takes place approximately 600 years from the present, when humans must leave Earth as a result of an event called "the Great Mistake". In the game, humanity travels through space to start a new life by colonising extraterrestrial planets."
I played the game for about 20-30 mins and everyone wanted to just make
agreements with me and be my friends. It seemed as though none of the other
factions wanted to even attack me? Also the artificial intelligence that
the supposed factions have, feels non-existence in civillization vi. All in
all I think I'm going to try and get a refund.
I have to disagree with those that say your selling it short, as a Civ
player since the very begining, This feels like they went thru a worm hole
to the past. The Ai was jimmied for Civ5 but it wasn't imporved upon over
Civ 4, this is my main oh no its not may main issue I have to many to pick
one, even the expainsions don't address the issues of 1, they just color
stuff. I think it's gone back in time, with pretty pictures. the game
crawls at a snails pace, made worse by the techno web. The fact they sell
it as a permium game, and as you say expect Modders to pull it out of the
mire, smells like one 3/10
BTW I enjoyed your review LOL to funny
I'm jsut dumb I thought for sure it was okay to buy and like they always have done would of had it purring like a kitten after the 3rd expansion was released, but something tells me they arfe blind at this time I still play but if you follow the always win never loose trading in this game little else matters. LOL
+TheTruthful Lemon Beyond Earth actually isn't too bad right now, now that they've released Rising tide. A fair amount of the problems with the early release of the game have been ironed out, although there's still some that remain. The biggest issue for me right now is the price. The game and xpac combined is $70 and I don't think that's a good price for it. I got both for $50 on GMG with a coupon code, and I think that's probably a fair price for it. I'd still say it's nothing exceptional, but the scifi setting is really cool. Not Civ games but if you want some good 4x games I suggest checking out Endless Space and Endless Legend. Those are 2 of my favorite 4x games.
+TheTruthful Lemon Most people will recommend Civ 4 or 5. I personally haven't played 4 yet, but 5 is a load of fun. If turn based strategy is your thing, you'll effortlessly toss hundreds of hours into it.
Or fix some of the problems like coloured tech trees and added personality traits and war score

Hey, what's up with the old woman in my video-game? I thought women can
only be used as background decoration or Damsels in distress serving as
objectified sex objects for the male gaze!
Saint Anita Sarkezian told me so!
Why are you contradicting her? Are you misogynists? Do you HATE women?
/sarcasm
+Michael BirdI agree, that's why I'm waiting until probably until next steam summer sale. But I doubt there is such a thing as the ''perfect'' game. There are always going to be (small) annoyances and enduring bugs.Civ beyond earth was alright, it just wasn't Civ 4 or 5 on which I both have 400+ hours
+Terros however as a dedicated fan of the Civilisation series, I expect to get my moneys worth and don't expect to get a 'imperfect' game, then have to throw out possibly £60 to get what I wanted. I hate DLC's just as much as the next person. Its no excuse for the game developers.
+Michael BirdNah, I genuinely still have hope for this game.Civ 5 was a bit underwhelming at release too.But with both expansions and numerous updates , Civ 5 is still quite entertaining.Hopefully this game will end up with the same amount of quality after a second expansion.I don't think rising tide will be the change I'm looking for though. So I'll be holding on to my money for just now.
This could have been the perfect time to put some robotic factions, some
alien factions, some hippie faction who hates technology. Give some colour
to the leader and factions, not scottish imperial, indian state and other
human factions in future.
+Keres1995 The only problem with that one is that if you do one of the affinities, you pretty much become that. I agree that they need to make the leaders more diverse. Hopefully, the traits you can choose will help.
+Callum Heath You're right then about the aliens, and how the hippie could be at a huge disatvantage in this situation. If only it was an underground faction, with lots of focus on espionage and sabotages. The only one that remains is a robotis faction, maybe not entirely made of robots, some people too, like engeneers who command them, with a leader who is enhanced by some robotic prostetics, so this factor would never have the problem of fear handicaps but very vulnerable to some sort of sabotages.
+Keres1995 They've explained why they don't have alien factions before the game came out. The Hippie thing could work, but a culture that hates technology won't make it into space.
+Gabriel Klinw You must be too young to remember the times when games came with all of their features from the start, and they would make massive expansions to add brand new features not previously seen. Those days where great. DLC is a norm now, but it used to be a rarity.
will we be able to trade strategic resources like in the old diplomatic
system? I mean, all this traits and agreements stuff are cool but if I need
some oil and other civ have it, can I still buy it in the old fashioned
way, There will be a new trade function that fill this gap or we will have
to do with what we got in our territory?
+BAStartGaming I would be happy if they would just stop LANDING near me! Seriously! The ARC once landed like, nine miles away from my capital! (In a ratio that each tile is a mile)
+Leandro Montanari Braz Yes I totally agree! It will definitely change a lot of my own strategies!Maybe they will implement something before release to demand the AI to not settle next to you!
+BAStartGaming I like this, it will have a huge impact on how trade routes are used and the importance of strategic resources. This probably mean that a city with a lot of petroleum, for example, will encourage the AI to trade with your city if they need petroleum, which means more energy and science for you. The only thing that is bothering me now in the new system is that it doesn't look like there's a way to talk to the AI, like in Civ V, where you can ask to stop spying on you, stop sending missionaries, that kind of stuff. I was hoping for an option to ask the AI to stop attacking a station that I'm trading with, doesn't look like it will happen. Only peaceful way to prevent a station of being destroyed is to surround it with your own units, which is a cheap workaround strategy.
+Leandro Montanari Braz So from what I have learned, you now use trade routes to exchange resources located within the city. So on top of the gold and science per route, I believe you will also trade for the resources located within that colony
"You can upgrade your unique ability"
Just imagine if Poland could get 10 free social policies at once, or if
America instantly founded super cities that cost 1 gold to buy tiles...
Or Babylon get free Great Scientists every turn...
