Dude in my circle comes out and pistol twins L and he will spam the off tackle zone Run also the 01 trap, and mix in some level drags through hurry up no huddle. How do you minimize/ stop 01 trap from this?

Doesnt have to be but my backs will be faster than any other formation and they will get to the ball quicker you can get away with nickel

yea I'm always getting burnt by the slot receiver running in the deep middle lol  some bs to be like 4 and 26 and they will get a first down I'm like FML ....lol but yea man ill try it out, and does it have to be Dime sam cover 6?   or can it work in any other cover 6?

If youre getting burned on outside routes then shading is better, spotlighting is good for zone defense as well because the zone defenders in cover 6 will move toward that receiver quicker

Yes dime-Sam-cover 6...pinch the line backers(rb on xbox or r1 on ps....left stick down where it says pinch..) also if you know what receiver your opponent uses to throw those passes you can spotlight him.

I just wish Cover 2 worked a little bit better its basically unusable anywhere outside the redzone

+MaddenGamers Heyy I've been getting all kinds of pics when playing flat zones the key is to play "Underneath" coverage. When you do that all your zones seem to react to the run better and do a better job of reacting to crossing routes. on a 7 game win streak from that one step. Lab it up!!!
