1985 Chevrolet C10 305 TBI Engine Running Way Better!
After having issues with the timing, tbi, fuel pump, spark plugs, and other things, I was able to get the truck running pretty decent. I'm pretty happy with it for the ...
same motor tranny combo i got in my 89 cheyyenne, my 305 came out of an 89
with only 30,000 origional miles, car was stolen, taken for a joy ride and
wrapped around a telephone pole, that was in 1990, my father in law bought
the motor from the junkyard the car got sent to, put the motor on a stand
with moving blankets over it and pushed into the corner of his barn, and i
stayed ther till i bought it in 09, put it in the truck 6 months later and
have only put 10k on it since, boy its sweet
I need a reply got a 88 c1500 donor with 305 tbi wanting to put the tbi in
my 86 Silverado c10 what all do I need to get it running good and driving
in the 86 will the 88 c1500 harness work with the 86 or do I have to get an
87 harness and wanting to put the 88 gas tank with electric fuel pump in
the 86 too and can I run my rebuilt th350c with the tbi
lol yeah but it doesn't look like that now. I bought a harness from the
savage yard and made a custom stand alone harness for it and cleaned it up
a lot. It looks way better.
its crazy how long a chevy would last!!! i just rebuilt a 305 tbi of a 89
firebird, but i cant get the fuel to pump tru the injectors im stuck at the
moment? any ideas y?
Where did you get your headers? And what brand are they? I have an 86 GMC
long bed I'm doin up with a 305 and a 700R4 and I really want some block
huggers! :)

The car 'sweeps' the tach and speedometer like that upon startup as a self-test. When they maxed the speedometer it probably sent it into another self-test to make sure it was functioning correctly. That's my guess, anyway.
Forget what I said in the earlier message. The odometer in this video is in km. I was looking at my odometer yesterday and I was like my car doesn't have 260 mph. Everything looks the same except for the numbers.
We have an all stock 2012 Optima Tdgi and from 0 to 158 takes around 51
sec. So video is very believable, Only part I'm not certain of is the
upgraded Turbo. Starting at 60 to 260 in time taken is I think about right
even for stack Turbo. I've looked and I haven't seen a Turbo upgrade for
the optima or maybe someone could share.
+Dane FergusonYea bud! I'm a 42 year old man, but I like to get on it from time to time lol. My son has a 95 vette Lt1 6 speed, and a few nights ago he got curious, and I did to about whose car was the fastest. So we made 2 runs, and the Optima beat the vette. We swapped drivers, and with his being 6 speed I gave him the jump with the spinning of his car. He came home, and is putting the vette up for sale lol. He said he didn't need something that his mother drives, and is our family car and being a 4 banger beat an American sports car, is enough to make him go ahead and buy, and build a 350z, and of course run a turbo on it. I told him to watch out, or he'll cause me to spend some money on his mom's car lol... Thanks for the reply. GOD bless....
+Michael Hayes yeah man ive got a 2013 optima sxl turbo and i havent seen any turbo mods for it that make it jump from 275 to 420 hp

Mounting optional bodies on the V100-C Touring Car Chassis
I have a Silvia S15 vaterra and I want to get a new shell and I'm not sure
which shells would fit so if someone could write down which shell would fit
my car it would be appreciated:)
BTW Rich, why do your Vaterra RC products have such sparse documentation? I
pulled up a few online manuals. I assume they are the same as included in
the box. I looked at the Vette, a Mustang. NO details about
adjusting/customizing, repairing/maintaining these things. Wow that was a
disappointment. You guys should look at the documentation for the HPI E10
Drift cars. SOLID. Vaterra's documentation should follow that example, i.e.
beef up the details.
Yea cause it's so hard to maintain a Rc car lol. Hats off to vaterra here there making super solid products with awesome detail with super customer service. And I'll bet money the parts ain't half as high as hpi. I sold my savage XL when I saw how much it was to maintain its super fast wearing parts.
This video is lame. The upgrade "system" is weak. Run any body BUT you need
a kit that doesn't include the screws needed. ALL of that should be
included in the box. Also: the title of this video mentions a V100-C. The
chassis in the video is NOT the V100-C. The V100-C has a giant front end
underbody piece of plastic. No bumper. So I assume changing bodies on the
V100-C will require trimming and may have less options for using Tamiya and
HPI.
So let me get this straight. Your saying a kit should include all necessary hardware to put any body you want on it. Are you wanting free body's too????
v100-c and v100-s are the same. he showed the v100-s body of camaro.

//www.carburetor-parts.com is happy to provide this informational video about the Carter 9000 AFB carburetor. This is the 1st part of several videos ...
hey mike i have acarter 9605s and in taking it off my chevy the other day i
seemed to have lost a couple parts was wondering if you have them in stock
the parts i need are by the accelerator pump i have the s shaped clip but i
need the linkage that connects to it as well as the rod and the two clips
that hold the pieces together would you have those in stock?
hey mike i have a carter 3461s AFB. I don't know what the CFM it is. and
are they any good. am planing to put it in a 1963 c10 with a 305. hope you
can help thanks.
Hey mike great video I have a question I have a 625 cfm Carter and it is
idling rough and I can take the left fuel mixture screw all the way out
while it is running and no change on the idle or rpm and still idling rough
until I push on the throttle just a little and then it will clean up and
run smoothly until I let off
From what you describe I suspect you have a clog somewhere in the idle circuit, on the side you refer to. Take the idle mixture screw out and blow through the hole. They are small and can easily get clogged. From there find the passage way going to the idle mixture screw. Use thin wire to clean it out if you can.You didn't mention if you rebuilt the carburetor. That would be a good place to start if you haven't already.
Great video thanks for all the help. One question though...Do you have a
video for the linkage...I took it apart b4 I saw your video and having
trouble putting it back together. Thanks!
