So to apply that knowledge at it's best i.e to get out some applications we need to first have good knowledge about any subject.like example: analog electronics at least the basic knowledge need to be taught properly about basic devices using which we can build far complex circuits (as vast field as space electronics).So the point is they need not teach us everything that is emerging in world today (i mean applied engineering) but, they necessarily need to teach the basics due to which the advancements are done in engineering

+gaurav bhardwaj if we think India has knowledge base system then they should give knowledge by teaching students need atleast knowledge to apply i ask u to go for one private engineering college(there are 70% colleges are private in india) and definetly u will say there are worst than new nits and iitssome private college curriculum is old .private engineering colleges in Andhra pradesh are worst Ask them one question from main subject in cse then u will know the difference between iit student and private college student .so some students end up in service based companies and some go for MS and some go for mtech through gate. if iit nit and private colleges has same knowledge base system then please answer me the followingwhy private college student did not get job in product based company?why iit and nit student is getting job in product based company?iit student of mechanical engineering got rank in gate cse without coaching then why private college student did not get rank in gate cse after his/her btech 4 years study? After studying 4 years btech why it is necessary to join gate coaching classes ?If the teachers in btech taught knowledge to them correctly then why they will join gate coaching and wasting 1year time

if a teacher can make a 2-3year child (who barely learn anything) to learn abcd for lifetime then in my opinion these teachers have powers to do anything.It's not students who is strongly trying to ignore a teacher. It's the teacher who fails to make it interesting for students to learn. It's the teachers who are not teaching properly

I want to tell mam that in my +2 I cleared ssb of NDA (airforce)  because of my passion to computer science but after  going through very painfull process of b.tech .  I  again started  preparation  for cds in 3 rd yr  because I have no option and no hope and no confidence but only due to sir currently preparing for gate feeling happy smiling on your comment .mam sorry if you feel bad becoz of me

But you should have at least watched some of his video on core subjects and you would have known whom you are talking with and maybe your comment would have been different. Let me tell you my experience. I had 70% in 10th and plus 2 as well. I have 55 percent in my engineering and hardly attended 10% of my classes in all 4 years and somehow by god's grace I got a job and I am currently earning very well. So for the kind of student I was there was no plan of any masters degree when while preparing for an interview I stumbled upon one of his Algorithms video, then a motivational video and then a couple of email conversation with him and that was enough for a symbol of lethargy like me to be ambitious again and now I wake up 4 in the morning, study then go to office then study and sleep by 12 in the night preparing for GATE. You were commenting on a legend, you should have chosen words carefully.I just wish there was atleast 1 tutor like him in every college. Respect you loadz Sir.

+Hemalatha Thiagarajan U made comments on students .shame on u .Is it this u gained from 30 years experience ?r u thinking students as worst humans? u said everyword in negative why should we give reply to u in cool manner?As u said 12th grade student has no good basic knowledge then i am asking u how they cracked iit jee ?is it easy to crack iit jee ? r u thinking to get into leading schools is easy? will ur son or daughter can get AIR 1 in cat exam without coaching and without hard work without learning? did ur son or daughter know what is learning ? cracking eamcet iit jee etc is by learning or just by cramming?Come to my hometown i will show u how engineering colleges running here . the students are in pathetic condition . not only in my hometown but in whole India.Come and ask them a simple question regarding any CSE Subject U cant expect reply from these students Can u join ur son to one of these colleges?some may cant afford to study for iit jee and so they will study for state entrance and enter these colleges parents are working hard to pay engineering college fees teachers and management had responsiblility to answer for parents . Is it wrong to do engineering and get good job?Students will listen to classes when teachers are teaching them effectively.I AM SUPPORTING the teachers who are giving 100 % on their duty but what about the majority teachers who are not doing justice to their duty? +Hemalatha Thiagarajan Ma'm with all due respect, i myself is an engineering graduate but i still get amazed when i come to realize what i have missed. One huge part of the reason why i missed those things is lack of good teachers. In my experience, the teachers would teach a topic and say " keep this topic in mind, this topic will be asked in your end sem exams ". This is the "motivation" that we get from our teachers. Ma'm i am from cse background, but honestly i was lower than average, did no good in my academics, never been serious about those, but one thing i had interest in was computer science, which died when i realized this thing.Being a student with no one to show the correct path, no one to guide you, its really hard job to follow your interest in colleges.There are very few teachers who really teach, others , just complete their syllabus duty. As per your complaint that students don't listen, yes, that's true. That's true because most of the classes are monotonous and made boring by unqualified teachers who just have to complete their syllabus and save their job.

Institutions , educated personalities all over the world are not fool that they take exam based on MCQ . IAS pre is totally MCQ , Bloomberg economic exam is totally MCQ . China's higher education exam is totally MCQ . And u people think by rote learning and FILLING OF PAGES IN ANSWER SHEETS is the right way to take exams .Shame on u ! Also the real teaching which people like Ravindrababu Ravula do is for learning , gaining knowledge thereby clearing GATE or any other exams Most Teachers even in my IIT have not learnt anything by feeling , all u know is to fill pages to pass . So, this is what u expect ur students to be !

But look at them now! After 4 years if they have mastered in learning something its FEAR. Fear of failure,fear to dream and fear about what would happen to their careers ! so instead of pointing out flaws I suggest you madam to please give it a thought and and worry about how good of a teacher you could be (considering you are a teacher).

Please don't ask Ravi Sir to join any institute, students all over India will curse you. If you ask about subjective knowledge, you should first go through those online videos which are available for free. Please don't blame for GATE coaching, these coaching are not only for GATE, to be GREAT in field of engineering.

But teachers at btech clgs will teach neither pattern matching nor concepts! and you ask "DO THEY KNOW LEARNING?" and we ask "DO TEACHERS AT BTECH CLGS KNOW TEACHING?" and v are talking about teaching not about making students to score marks. if u think he is speaking rubbish, its okey! we cannot please everyone. but remember, v will stop studying for marks unless u stop teaching for salary. i need not speak but those likes and dislikes proportion itself speaks about the video. and he taught in each and every coaching center in india. so,he very well knows how to teach and make students understand,if he is not fit, he himself would not have made this video. Anyways u will come to know how much efforts he puts to make each and every student understand,in near future! plz dont tell him to join any clg.. we might miss his teachings

+Hemalatha Thiagarajan do you even know what he teach and how he has taught his students he taught his students continously 12 hours non stop and you wont ever get bored only no. of years you have been teaching someone does not matter the way a person teach his or her students matters whats the use of your teaching if i get bored listening to you and basically do you even know all the competitive exams in objective pattern and if you have been teaching so long i dont think i need to explain that how much effort is needed to get totally prepared to face those exams ....... so dont judge anyone just czz you have 30 years of experience there is a reason that the person in the video is at that position
