You make your own games, study coding, study, do more studying, make more games, study how games work, study psychology, philosophy, more coding, more games (doesn't mean play), read lot's of books, more studying... Oh, did I say make games? Yeah, you have to make games. Plus, if you want to work at Nintendo, SPECIFICALLY, well, go kill yourself. Why? Because you're going to have to do more studying. It's like getting a 45 on the MCAT... So, work hard...

@mrm64 dude . then do what i cant do. learn it with school if they give classes and learn it. because there you learn it better .. i have to teach it myself throught videos. its really hard. and takes way longer because you must figure the most. but if you have the opportunity. then begin now. because later. experience and skill counts the most

@agentwow1 I'm a year younger than you in the 7th grade and I hope to pursue this career as well. I started making games when I was 8 and as the years passed I began to see how much I enjoyed creating my games. It's amazing how impressive things are once you understand the effort required to accomplish those things.

@mrm64 your not going to be a nintendo game designer. your going to be a computer game designer..depending on your subject. your making computer games first. then making them into console games.. trust me you wont like programming console games ... except xbox 360 when you ever get into it ^^

@mrm64 me too. me too. here in germany. "where i live" i have no damn change to learn to become a game desgner. no schools. and i get no education.... thats why i hate the school here. they dont help you. SO i must become one myself by learning 3d design since 2 years

lol I since realized the complexity of the career and decided to move on to something more reasonable. Theres no chance I'd work for Nintendo simply because Im not into hard computers and animation. BUT others here are so, go for your dreams everybody else!
