question: i went to do the wheel bearings on my jeep and the little bolt that hold the pin in the middle has no head on it i think the old owner broke it off. any suggestions to get whats left of it out? so i can take the pin out then pull the axles to the the bearings thanks

Thank you for this video, I am getting ready to do my rear bearings/seals and this makes things so clear. Write-ups are nice, but video allows you to understand a write-up better.

...and I was going to take my axle housing to a shop to have them pressed. I didn't figure a slide hammer would do the job. THANKS!!

Great video. I'm ordering seals/brgs for my 98 Sport. How about a little diff lube on that seal lip before sliding the axle in?

I would suggest using a large mallet rather than a hammer, to tap the bearing in. That way you won't ruin your large socket.
