Question: can you do a video of how to take this off and clean it and where
the vacuum lines go? I am having this issue and trying to fix it myself,
and I need help. Thanks!
LOL, yes, they got me on that one. I already had $150 worth of parts so I wasn't about to spring for $320 for the kit when I only needed $170 worth of the parts.
Sorry I meant vida torque spec is 17 nM, my mistake. That translates to roughly 12-13 lb ft. I have never stripped out the bolts and I have done 6-7 engines.
Those dust storms are also called a "haboob" if it's of a certain type. Get
used to the dust storms there in the desert southwest.
Also, late June through September will bring the monsoons, which basically
means a lot more rain and thunderstorms on a daily basis.
I got a kit from IPD and replaced it. Since I posted it I have taken it
back apart and re-routed the big hose to the intake nipple and it is
perfect now.
