No LFA has one of the most amazing torque band all across rev range. It produced 90% of its peak torque from 3700 rpm all the way to the 9500 rpm rev limit. That is not the issue. 458 Italia might be a tiny bit quicker at 260 + km/h because it has shorter 7 gears compared to taller 6 gears of the LFA.

yeah but in real life that would be bad for the clutch and and pretty much everything that drives the belt, but yeah it does give extra mph i guess

hmm do you think the late shift on the 4th gear caused the 458 to pull away? Power has decreased after 8700rpm.

In real racing its best to redline especially drag racing you don't want to shift before the gear is done.

The person who made the handling ratings for Forza period are idiots. The PI system in Forza is absolutely horrible. If two cars are 700 PI, they should be competitive, but that's rarely the case. I know several examples where a car has higher stats in every way, but is the same PI as the much lower-stat car. Also several examples of a car with, say, 9.1 accel blasting the shorts of a car with 9.6 accel. Makes no sense! -_-

For sure, I prefer GT5's PP system, because it takes into effect things like downforce, weight districution, etc. I wish Forza would adopt the same system. As it stands, there's only 3 or 4 cars you can be competitive with in each class in Forza =\ I hope Forza 5 has a power limiter like GT5 haha, that's probably my favorite part of GT5, being able to dial in how much power your car has.

No the 458 Italia does not beat the sh't out of the LFA in GT5. I have played it myself and the results are very similar. LFA in a 0 - 300 km/h race is about 1 car length behind the 458 Italia, which barely qualifies as "beating the sh*t ot of" and there is a video on youtube and it shows exactly the same results I have seen (video number: kSCdwbQ_wUc).
