I'm a Cardinal fan from Illinois. I was at this game. I flew up to
Baltimore and Camden Yards for this series against the O's. This was the
first game. I regretted the decision quite quickly
+Ryan Cape Glad to hear, Baltimore gets a lot of stick because the city (for lack of better words) sucks. Which I'll admit it is very lacking and doesn't do much to make you feel safe, but the Orioles and Camden Yards will always have a soft spot in my heart.
+Ryan Hardison Agreed, man. Andy MacPhail, IMO and that of others, deserves more credit than Duquette. Chris Tillman may be inconsistent, but he has come so far from where he was in 2009. Davis and Hunter, unfortunately, have imploded. We thought that in Chris's case, it was because of his personal life becoming such that he couldn't keep it out of games without his Adderall. We believed that with Vyvanse, he would be able to start improving again. But unfortunately, that hasn't happened, at least not yet. If/when Chris leaves at the end of the year, that's fine, but next year, Christian Walker will probably be the starting first baseman. What if he has problems, too?
+Sean Brower I'm an Orioles fan...and although Dan Duquette (Orioles current GM gets a lot of publicity), Orioles previous GM deserves a lot of respect for trading Bedard for Adam Jones and Tillman and trading Uehera for Tommy Hunter and Chris Davis (who were vital to us in the past, but suck now)
+Sean Brower No but I respect the Cardinals a lot, first class organization, team, and fanbase that doesn't overspend via FA, they build their team internally
+Sean Brower Cardinals are a household name that has had a lot of postseason success but don't miscount the Orioles either, look at all the under the radar guys they got that ended up reviving their career in Baltimore: Nate McClouth, Chris Davis, Chris Tillman to name a few
Orioles and Cardinals both have a lot of depth, young talent and team chemistry and they build their teams the right way (through the draft and under the radar trades and signings)
