Well there's only about a 1mm thick piece of plastic covering the actual screen so common sense would tell ya if a direct hit to the screen accrues there's more than likely gonna be damage. Also I have the Survivor on my iPhone4, iPhone5 and my iPad and have dropped them all and nothing has happened to mine.I'm just saying its not ALWAYS the products fault sometimes it's actually the consumer doing things like trying to show off there tough case and getting careless with it.

I get the feeling that someone wasnt using their case when this happened, ive thrown mine 50 feet into the air onto asphalt and concrete and its been fine.
