Some are just photoshop brushes. The misty effect is a trick using
photoshop blur filters and the layers and airbrush set to Screen mode. The
color holds are done through an action I run when it's time, and the
reflections on Wolvie's claws are special effects I just adjust and resize
for whatever puropse I need. Most of these techniques are from a DVD Rom
that came with a book called Master Digital Color by Brian and Kristy
Miller. Through the book, and lots of practice, I learned lots. I really
recommend the book if you want to learn how it's done.
I just had to watch this again. I just purchased my very first set of tones
and used it on a one shot Manga I'm creating....so much fun I love it.
