October 2011: Forgetting Things in Math Class
This is my attempt to demonstrate to my math class the concept of "inattentional blindness," in which people don't see what they're not paying attention to.
Your vids are awesome, and you must have so much fun making them and
introducing them to your students. :-)
Are any of your students into Star Trek? In Star Trek (and some other
Paramount productions, especially from the 90's and onwards, 47 is a
"magic" number). So that might explain why some of them memorized it. (I
did, just because of that. ;-))
dude... you are a fun creative teacher. you will probably be on the news
soon enough. i hope and wish you well and keep spreading joy in school. we
need teachers like you. Best Regards Guy from Sweden
Wow I wish I had teachers like that! :D No one would actually forget the
class in the anticipation of something as fun, educating and entertaining
as this! Its very awesome :)
Do you always wear that orange shirt when you pull these pranks?
Does God Exist? William Lane Craig vs. John Shook
Date: January 2008 Location: University of British Columbia Christian debater: William Lane Craig Atheist debater: John R. Shook For William Lane Craig: ...
+ThomisticTheistOh, go to reasonablefaith.org, then go to videos/debates and select the one with Shook. Now, you'll notice it is broken down into many videos. Watch video No.8 and you'll see what's missing. Namely, Shook is addressing the resurrection and a few more points. This speech is missing from the end of Part 1 of your upload. I watched this debate so many times I know it by heart! ;)
Good resources. I was a little disturbed that Luke's death was mentioned under "Fate of the Apostles", since Luke was not an Apostle. But the book references and such were good.
Biola University - Joshua Tongol - The Radical Grace of God Sermon Jam

The Church has been so week because it has been mixing law and grace,
mixing the old covenant with the new and preventing the church from coming
into the new. Worshipping with one foot on Calvary and one foot on Mt.
Sinai, and always confussed about God. I know, I lived it for years. We
read every passage that is precross including the Gospels and never ask the
question, "what difference did the cross make" and we are a confussed
generation. IT IS FINISHED will change your life!! Great job!!
@joshuat77 Hello! =D I listened to your sermon jam again, and I got
confused. :D I don't know if you're talking about salvation or
sanctification. (Well maybe because I don't know who your audience is) If
you're talking about salvation, then you're right. But when we got saved,
we weren't given freedom from doing the law. We were given freedom to do
the law. That's because Jesus already paid for our sins. =D
Hmmm.. I get your point but what I'm confused with is that you make it
sound like the law is kind of useless, in fact, something like bad because
it condemns us and all. Did I understand it right? Please correct me if I'm
wrong. ^^~
You always slap me in the face with the message I need most. I couldn't
find anything unbiblical in this message. The Pope would do well to listen
to it.
