forget how good they look,thats actually a bunch of hiperformance Fords in one place!!!!How many of you have actually seen the internals on one of these engines?They are just ridiculous!!!!The heads would supply plenty of air to a 460!It has to be the most fundamentally sound hiperformance engine Ford has produced,I got to ride in one,4 of us in it, 2nd gear pull was unmatched,gearing was perfect. For the most part,FoMoCo just never has impressed me much,they did it with this one

chevy came out with their 327, 283 crank 302,z28, which was good, but not that good, [even the crossram intake]. larry shinodas boss 302 is da "BOSS". chrysler tried the 340 6 pak, which was way behind. BOSS TREE O TWO! p.s. best american factory hotrod [1/4 mile] is zora arkus duntov's all aluminum 427 '70 zl1 vette [my opinion].

@xBloodfatherx the new ones would most likely win. Best part is, it'll last 100,000 miles with no major repairs and you can drive it all over the place. But the roughness of the old ones are part of the charm :D

Nice SVO in the background too. My first Cars was a 69 convertible. Red , Red, white top , magnum 500's and a 351W 4B.....Crane HMV 272 cam. It had a nice idle to it with just a little bit of rumble.

That was great, I had a 1969 Marc 1 back in the days, car was an animal, and yeah i sold it like a ass-hole ,..... jerk that i am, i have a 1994 GT300, shes sweet, but the 69 was amazing......

Niiice. My uncle has a '70 Boss 302. Last time I rode in it, I was almost too young to appreciate it. Plus I got scared because my uncle was going like 80 lol.

Oh man, that lumpy, solid lifter cam "RUMPITA RUMPITA' is such a pretty sound. The 69' and 70' fastbacks are the sexiest Mustangs ever.
