We installed a turbocharger on a 4 cylinder Nissan CD 17 diesel engine, which we had mounted on a jeep. Here is what it sounds like.

+Thomas Passarelli I am sick of GM USA and Nissan USA saythey will or may bring a compact pickup to the USA. Just do italready and show it when it is for sale! The reason Nissan usesCummins is unless a Diesel is made for the USA from scratch theyusually don't meet USA safety and smog regulars, thank the EPA forthat! Also I wish they were offered with manual and not just auto. What transmission they use? Also why are diesel always top of theline models, why not use it/put it in the base models?

A lot, mostly used on their other marketplaces (Europe, Asia, Africa, Oceania, Latin América) I.E.: they had used on ther Nissan Frontier/Navara D40 the 2.5L 190hp YD25DDTi High Power, 2.5L 171hp YD25DDTi Mid Power Commonrail, and on Europe the 3.0L 228hp V9X Engine V6 Turbodiesel
