I suspect my mum had stroke, and she missed the golden timing of treatment.
Will it cause a brain damaged? How do I confirm her Brain injury? Thank you
so much and hope to hear from you soon.
It most certainly can. She needs to be seen by a neurologist and a neuropsychologist and evaluated, so encourage her to do that if you haven't already. If she has had a brain injury and damage, there is a lot of hope. Even if some of her former abilities do not return, she can certainly learn new and different ways to achieve the same goals and still live a full and happy life as a differently-abled person. Good luck.
