+QuadropheniaBrosef Lol I was like who? I was thinking it was Alison...so I googled and realized yeah, same person. I met Alison back when she was with Verbow. She was very nice and Jason was cool as shit too. Not too many "rockstars" actually talk to you, they just answer you, but the both of them were really quite awesome. Sadly, I haven't really kept up with either of them and I never knew she developed a stage name.
Listening to this makes me so nostalgic for the 80's. So much incredible
music.. pixies, replacements, sonic youth.. I won't even get into all the
punk rock from that era, as that would take more time and space than we've
got here. Makes me sad for kids today. Auto tuned pop crap that spouts
nothing but a celebration of stupidity; champagne, fat stacks, gold chains,
bitches. Just fucking sad.
I love you man. I miss the days you could take a board downtown, pay 5 bucks, see a bunch of local bands with the likes of Bad Religion, Descendents, 7 Seconds,Exloited, Black Flag, Husker Du, etc. Sometimes the venue would have a half pipe and one creepy guy that everyone knew was creepy and you didn't feel bad about letting him know you would kick his arse if he even looked your way. Course back then we weren't scared of everything either.
+crushsatan +1. One thing that always distracted me on old Husker albums was the drumming. I won't go into it but being a drummer...it just was a weak spot. This is a great band here. Jon is a fantastic drummer and Jason is amazing cover the low end and complementing Bob's vocals as well. As a three piece these guys cover a whole lot of sonic spectrum.
+Lazymaven Jon Wurster, the drummer, was also on the Greatest Show on Earth hosted by Tom Scharpling on WFMU in New York City. He would call in as a guest and say weird things on the radio show. Too bad the show ended.
That's Jason Narducy on bass and Jon Wurster on drums. I don't want to downplay the greatness of Sugar, but this is easily Bob's best band ever.

Building Mouse Proof Ant Proof Weather Proof Tiny House Flooring
Saturday I had a friend come over to help out and we finished mouse and bug proofing the tiny house floor. This floor is now wind and water proof as well.
You know, I think that no matter how much I give reasons for your first points not to be valid, you will come up with other points. You just want to find fault. First, the city was going to come in and say it was a dump...but they aren't because it is a construction site and there is no construction site in the world that does not have clutter at one time or another...so that point was not valid...now you say it is a fire hazard. Lightning usually goes for a high point, not things that are laying on the ground, and certainly not wood. All of the scrap metal...or at least 99% of it has already been removed and Troy puts his metal tools away at night so what is it that would attract the lightning in the first place?
Most towns, unlike some very judgemental watchers, use common sense and they know that this is a work in process and some clutter is to be expected. It is not like Troy is living in the center of a populated town either on a well traveled street. Troy is way off in the woods and you can't see his yard unless you are visiting him, or flying directly overhead.
Nathan, you must not watch much. Troy is always cleaning up the yard. You should have seen it when he had just demolished the trailer that was on the frame that the tiny house is being built on.!!!
Great job. And how nice to see you and Chis working together. As a mother
can I say it concerns me when you kids don't wear eye protection of good
footwear on the building site. Yes....I know you have heard this before
(big smile).
I was just going to mention that Chris is a good neighbor, but I guess
people thought you were misusing him. ??? I don't know......... Overall I
think you did a good job. The only thing I can see is when you were telling
Chris how to set the tape, the tone was more of (you can't do it right let
me show you), I know it wasn't meant that way but that's how it was heard.
+Duane C I did not think you were being critical. Of course no one is allowed to be critical on this channel. I was seriously just asking "how do you know he did not mean to sound critical with Chris" since he has been that way with other people? Maybe people are judgmental because we were given a brain to discern right from wrong, good from bad and up from down so we can make correct choices.
How do you know it was not meant that way? Especially when it was Chris who showed him when the camera was off to use the slick side of the paper instead of his hands and finger's to smooth the tape down. People have no idea who Chris really is and that there would be NO Off grid whatever or Can't do it yourself if not for him from the very beginning.
Please everybody who has just happened across this for the first
time....believe me when i say that , if you love this, every single song on
their 3 albums are as good. WELL worth investing in.
It's slightly like the arc XTC were following with Apple Venus Vol 1 was
continued, refined, expanded upon and turned into some of the greatest
music I could hope to hear
