Dude seriously everybody takes the piss out of nascar around the world, cuz its a noob race. Have you ever seen a lemans race? Do you know how difficult it is. You have to show some real driving skills to handle the power, braking and handling of the car and not to forget to push it allways to the max. Seriously I wanna see a nascar driver drive a lemans car and see what he does. Comeon Montoya was in nscar ( he came from formel1) and said literally this is so lame, allways driving in circles

also, Juan Pablo is still in NASCAR, and he has never said anything bad about it. if he did, i'm sure i who is an avid NASCAR watcher would of heard about it and he would of been fined for saying such things. he actually loves NASCAR. he's actually defended it a couple of times when a pompus ass by the name of Michael Shumacher said that NASCAR isn't a sport and is boring. he actually presented a challenge towards Shumie, and that was 2 years ago. 'til this day, Shumie hasn't taken it up.

Dude seriously, compare Lemans with Nascar. You can't compare, do you guys use brakes in nascar xD? Come on I know it's a national sport but still it is boring as hell and doesn't require as much driving skills as Lemans, and lemans isn't the hardest thing. Have you guys ever seen a rally? That's the hardest in motorsports. If you can drive a rally car to its max you are able to drive everything in the world. Still we take the piss out of Nascar here in europe cuz it is just soooo boring

yes, they actually do use brakes. ever heard of short tracks? hell, even today they used their brakes ALOT. a couple of teams actually had problems with the heat that the brakes were giving off that it would blow tires. oh and they goto 2 road courses a season. 2 tracks that ALMS frequents by the name of Sears Point and Walkins Glen. plus, with a combination of both Nextel and Nationwide series, they goto 3 road courses including the one in Mexico that F1 frequents. stop being ignorant.

how is NASCAR crap when it's still the fastest growing sport in the world? oh and if you want to get technical, EVERY racing series in the world goes in circles. think about it. at least there's passing in NASCAR. F1 is just a parade of cars. hell, even the first race this season was boring as hell last weekend. many people would agree with me, even a couple of automotive news websites.

funny though, the new Corvette ZR-1 has a pushrod engine, yet it dominates everything with DOHC technology except for the Viper SRT/10 ACR. ALMS is set in classes. LMP1, LMP2, GT1, GT2. of course the Audi R10s are going to be faster. that's why there are classes. currently, Corvette Racing dominates the GT1 class ahead of (you guessed it) a modern DOHC V12 in the 2 Aston Martins.

your ignorance amazes me. saying that NASCAR doesn't involve skill. its quite hilarious when you've never been around a 2.5 mile oval at over 200mph with 42 other cars around you. so who are you to say that it involves no skill? can you possibly answer that for me? because i'd really like to see how ignorant your next statement will be.

Driving circle at 20mph , 100mph or 200mph... it's all the same or not? u still driving in a circle, I probably could yep. But I can tell u for sure that we couldnt even survive one lap with a porsche gt1 on the nurburgring pushin the car to its max, we would die in the next corner believe me ;)

volumeguy,Push road engine are obsolete@ high RPM they float. No power compare with over heads cams, with same cc(size of engine).They're hard to turns,one of the reazon mayority of over head cams engine, use timing belts

Absolutely agree m8 , nascar is for kids, I can drive for hours and hours in a circle too. You dont need to be michael schumacher to drive circles, some right and left turn would be great to show some true driving skills

no, you couldn't. you wouldn't be able to at all. because (1. you've never done it before (2. its not that simple of pressing the gas and turning left. you might want to look into that before making such a judgement.
