Guys - seriously, there is a program called RecBoot. Since this video was
made, this program was made (for OS-X), it does this all for you with one
click. I'm not a spammer, i've literally just spent the last 3 hours in
panic (from midnight till 3am), trying to figure this out because even
after doing the video above, my phone was still stuck in recovery mode.
Trust me, search for the program..i think there might even be a Windows
version now also.
i get this after typing -s, then return: new-host:~ superfly$
/Users/superfly/Downloads/iRecovery -s dyld: Library not loaded:
/usr/local/lib/libusb-0.1.4.dylib Referenced from:
/Users/superfly/Downloads/iRecovery Reason: image not found Trace/BPT trap

my phone for hours i need serious help and this isnt working nothing is
I'll be completely honest with you mate. After a few weeks, it started
dying again. So I think it's a mechanical/physical issue. I ended up
getting a new phone (mine was an old 3GS so it was time for an upgrade
anyway).
i know i might be a few months late but i tried following your instructions
and i keep getting a message saying library not loaded and image not found
in the terminal screen can you help me get past this??
I'm doing this in Windows, but when I use -s it just gives me this message:
"iRecovery - Recovery Utility by wEsTbAeR-- and Tom3q Got USB No
iPhone/iPod found." Can someone help please?
Rainerk2 you're my savior man!!! I dowgraded a couple of years ago from
4.2.1 and had all the needed file for this, but now i forgot how to do it!
A million thnx for the reminder!!
weird...i synced with a DIFFERENT Mac and the reboot works fine. I think my
itunes is whack. Not sure what to do to fix it without out loosing my
playlists & iphone back-up files...
Thank you for this tutorial. I think this iPhone of mine is beyond saving
but you supplied what I was looking for - a clear and concise tutorial of
how to run iRecovery.
hey guys I'm actually stuck on the first step of it...If I type -s in the
terminal the only thing I see is " image not found ".Please can u help me?
Im desperate
Mine stopped @. (I was also typing a paper on the computer I though that
that might have disturbed the process). I went back a started the whole
process over. After I click the phone icon(on the device recognition page)
it says" Cannot create the case. Please check that you have permission for
writing to the folder defined in Options and there is enough disk space" I
was able to see some pictures under "Graphics" in work place 1 and 2. But
thats it. No phone records, text messages,.Please help!!
I will recover some deleted information. I can not guarantee that it will
pull up all deleted info. From my experiences with this unit, it should
recover deleted information from about the last few weeks or so. You have
to keep in mind if something was deleted and new information is stored over
the deleted block of information, it makes it that much harder to recover
it. If you have any other questions please let us know.
When you go to pull the information from the phone I would make sure that
the iRecovery window is the only thing you have open. You may also want to
try to upgrade the device to make sure youre using the latest version. If
this doesnt seem to work you can try to contact Paraben directly, the
manufacturer of the unit. If you have any other questions just let us know.
I would actually recommend trying to upgrade the iRecovery stick to the
latest version. If that doesnt work you can call Parabens customer service
@ 801-796-0944. They have tech support that can possibly help you out if
the upgrade doesnt work. If you have any other questions just let me know.
Are you able to put the data back onto the phone to view? The other night I
cleared out an entire conversation over text that I need back, so I was
wondering if the recovery stick can put the text messages back onto the
phone itself and can be viewed on the phone afterwards.
Whenever I start a recovery, it always seems to "freeze" on a certain photo
not even a quarter of the way in and that forces me to abort the recovery,
is there any way I can permanently delete this photo forever so that it
doesn't hurt the recovery process?
Hi, does this work to recover text messages that are lost after I've tried
EVERYTHING? I tried third party software, itunes backup, and icloud backup.
Some how the text messages are missing. Does this recover every text that
was ever sent and received?
@LuckyDyme the iRecovery stick will allow you to view the information but
will not allow you to physically put it back on your phone, we have looked
into that before and theres not a way to do so.
Mine gets to about 4722MB and then says PARSING BACK UP DATA and stays
there won't go any futher, and I can't see any data that's been recovered.
WHAT DO I DO?
