because it has hardly in new features they count a color change in the status bar a change or movement of where the Bluetooth is in the menu a new ground breaking feature. There are maybe 20 good new features that is nothing compared to what android has via a major software update and i have been an apple user for 15 years.. I just dont see the major ios innovation that we once had under Steve Jobs.. ios is very stale and needs a major ios overhaul not an honestly which looks like ios 5.2 update

Excellent review. But is it me or is the IOS getting old now ? I've used the iphone ever since the first ever iphone was born, don't get me wrong, i still love my iphone but in the past year or so, there hasn't been any drastic change compared to the improvements and enhancements in the android and windows phones, their software and their interfaces. Till last year, if there is a new phone i would want to get it would always be an newer iphone, but now i'm not so sure, looking at Samsung S3.

i personally don't find iOS stale, but i do think it looks old. i don't like the blue vertical stripe background in the settings app. i really like the new music and app store apps though, i hope there's more of that kinda stuff. at the moment it all seems quite inconsistent, but we've got a while to wait yet so you never know what else they might change.

Its ONLY FUCKING Siri !!!! we need like future phones and shit to deal with Siri !?!?!?!?!?!?!? and the 3D maps I tested it out and its 3D on tall buildings,if you zoom out you can see the world and it works on Mountains NOT on small houses.....so why sould we buy a new phone/iPad JUST for Siri ?!!?!?!?

It's called competition. Android has that clean look for a long time, something people preferred over that gloomy look iOS 6 had. iOS is also known to be more user friendly, everything was designed for navigational purposes rather than looks.

And yes, theming would be a great addition to iOS. I don't exactly miss the iOS 6 theme, it's just the new flatness and slow animations that bother me in iOS 7.

I know that this is a very old and dated video and it was a good one. But I have to admit ios 7 was a be careful what you wish for!! +Lucifer Wright I highly agree with you. I hate the new Game Center because in iOS 6, it used to look so highly-detailed and crisp. Now it's bull-shitting flat and garbage. Same goes for Safari app, used to look 3-D, now everything is flat.

You really think so. Google copied iOS. iOS came out before Android. Android looks so much like iOS its not even funny. Samsung, the only thing really keeping Android alive, basically stated the wish Android was more like iOS. Majority of iOS features are Apples. If they arent then Apple made them better. That is how things work. You take something someone created an make it better. Only Google has failed at that. Samsung tried to make it better but failed, an lost so much money. Learn the facts

Apple hates competition. Then why not go after Microsoft? You don't see them getting sued. Oh wait thats because 1. Microsoft invented something that doesnt look or function like iOS. 2. They played nice an pay to use Apple patents. I have used android an owned an android phone. How does that help your case, you hav to buy a high end android phone. If android is great then it shouldnt matter what phone you use. I never said Apple didn't copy. They do but they make it better then what it was.

Look man, the only reason that android has more devices on the market, is because you have like 40 or 50 android based phones on the market vs apples 4 or 5 devices. And even with that, virtually every android phone maker ( except Samsung) is STRUGGLING. Look at HTC. 25 percent drop in sales, and 60 percent profit loss. As far as Samsung, their success is more due to the fact that they are a GLOBAL brand with deep pockets. for instance, If HTC had the galaxy 3, THEY WOULD STILL BE DAMN NEAR

HAHAHA... Apple offered Mircosoft to use their patents and they accepted. If Apple truly hated competition they wouldnt offer this to any one they would keep their patents to themselves. But they offered MS an Samsung options to use their patents. Samsung said no because they have no shame. MS cant shut them down. Apple hasnt done anything wrong, in that aspect. IBM can do no such thing if so prove it. All phones are made the same in the sense of components. THey have the same basics.

because it is open source doesnt necessarily mean its better. Android is horrible. I used Android an it drove me mad. Freezing up turning it self back on when I want it off. Lag behind of features? Android is just a cheap knock off of iOS. If not then why does it look similar? Look at the overall security of Android. They had to create anti-virus software, that doesnt even work, to help. The Android app store is out of control on what gets added. It needs to be cleaned up.

Samsung has straight copied Apple in all Phones one way or another. Yes the Galaxy S3. It looks like the iPhone to a degree... Most of the new features are Apple knock offs. Samsung hasnt done their own thing in the mobile world. Hell they just lost the lawsuit an then released a tablet hybrid that looks like the MBA and then copied the dock. Its pathetic. Android is crap an not powerful, its slow locks up all the time an the open source market is out of control...

They have a screen, ram, hard drive i.e.. So they are not manufactured all that different. They only difference are the phone specifications. If android can run well on all devices then they dont need to make it as it will hurt business. Apple doesnt manufacture their own devices completely. If oyu look at they use parts from other companies to succeed. The only thing they use is thier own facility. Majority of nternal parts arent even apple parts.

The thing is that the product design, engineering, and software is done by Apple. They use off-the-shelf components that are sometimes modified to fit the product. Some components are designed entirely by Apple. The point is that if they use the right components, it's still a good product and that shouldn't worry people. I just hate it when they advertise some technologies that were done by others but make it seem as if they did it.

All this new so called features could have been included in a small update. But being apple all have to look much bigger than it really is. Calling this a new system is a joke. Also icloud integration is a joke. Not everyone is on unlimited data plan to use this thing. Facebook integration is also questionable. Clearly you don't pay attention to detail. When you use something for so long an then it changes you will notice. Like when you look at the retina display then look back at a screen that doesnt have retina ie Android, or older iOS devices you will notice. Eh, half true. Apple does use screens, memory, and some other components from companies like samsung, but they do roll their own CPU/GPU, antenna, dock connector. Then they also probably collaborate on other stuff, such as the LTE chip
