The Lumsing battery pack is the smallest portable 5200mAh unit that I've seen yet, so I was initially a bit skeptical of its capability. I tested it with my Kindle Fire HD 7"" (1st generation), which has a 4400mAh battery. I first charged the Lumsing with an AC wall charger until all four LED charge lights were on, then I connected it to the HD, which was indicating a 55% charge. After 130 minutes, the HD was at 93% (an increase of 38%), and the Lumsing was showing three LEDs. Theoretically the HD had drawn 1,670mAh (4400 x 0.38) from the Lumsing, leaving about 3500mAh in reserve, or about 67% remaining charge, which is consistent with the 3 LEDs (50%-75% remaining charge on the Lumsing). That doesn't consider the loss of capacity due to electrical inefficiencies in both devices, but the numbers are consistent enough to demonstrate that the Lumsing was charging the HD and registering correctly on its own charge indicators.
