does this work in desktop or exe games to where I don't have to use them in
a browser or if I make them 1280x720 or 1920x1080 will I even have to
worry?
Virtual Reality Urban Racing Game 2 (for Google Cardboard)
This is the next stage of a virtual reality JavaScript game I'm developing. The game runs in Chrome, and you put your phone in a Google Cardboard headset and ...
I'll make a good, permanent link soon. This is an experiment and not the
"final" version of the game, and my server is littered with half-finished
virtual reality experiments.
+Cole J Well, you've encouraged me to get back to work on my VR games when I get home today. For the first few weeks after I built my headset I did absolutely nothing but code VR stuff. Work's been getting in the way lately, but holy crap, nothing compares to building whatever crazy-intense VR game you can dream up and then getting to play it.
+Collin Norwood Thanks. This demo is a tiny, tiny portion of what the game in its entirety will be, and the code that powers the demo is basically a messy sketch meant to test a few things out. When the actual game is done it'll run just fine in desktop and mobile browsers, with the option to run in virtual reality mode for players with cardboard headsets or Oculus Rifts. So yeah, I won't try to stop you from sharing with a few people, but I'd rather not have my crappy shared-host server get flooded with disappointed people expecting a finished game, if that's cool with you :DHit me up if you want to collaborate in some way, too. I'm not much of a work with other people kind of person, but you seem enthusiastic.
+Collin Norwood I'm touched that you think it looks interesting, but as it is the code is very messy and inefficient. Also, there are several versions in varying states of completeness and different-ness on my site. I'm not sure which one you found, but I can't guarantee it's the best one to play. Also, unless you've got a Nexus 5, I can't guarantee whether it'll run smoothly. Oh, and the game (as it stands in development) is played with a BT keyboard, not something intuitive like a gamepad. But hey, if you've found the code without my help, have at it. Just, ya know, if you make it into something good and get rewarded in all kinds of ways for it, maybe share with me.
Can I please please please please please get a link for this soon? I need to try this or I might die. Also is it, by any chance open source? If so do you have a github repository I can fork?
HTC One X Screen problem on two brand new phones
UPDATE: Read my latest post on XDA-Developers //forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=24979673&postcount=253 Original post: I bought a HTC ...
I agree that its a software/driver issue, my screen glitched out fully
while bluetoothing across a video to laptop so could be a radio/video
conflict somewhere. It looked liked you had put the resolution too high for
your monitor in Win 3.11 if anyone can remember that far back
I have the exact same problem... the notification bar also flickers and
have those colorful lines at the bottom/side of the screen specially when
the camera is turned on... hope its a software issue and gets fixed soon.
Im at 1.26 firmware right now.
i had the same problem but now my problem is solved.. just go to settings
and then go to power. then uncheck the option fast boot. then reset your
mobile and the problem will solve hope this will help u :)
I can't reproduce these problems anymore - please read the link in the
description. My phone has not been updated. I will get back as soon as i
find any problems with my phone.
