It drives me nuts how yankess call engines... Motors. A motor is electric. An engine is petrol. I guess its so common place that websters give you a spot to call an engine.... a motor.... but that doesn't make it accurate. Maybe I've just been to too many car shows down south and had my fill of yankees. Either way.... Look up the definition.

+Ike Laprade https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Engine I'm sorry. I'm third generation cat business and pariticuraly antique car buisness. I appogize if I offended. Just a pet peeve. Maybe I just don't like yankees.

1956 OLDSMOBILE = 350 Jetaway Hydramatic 4SPD Transmission. In fact Olds invented the Hydramatic in 1940 or 41. I think you got Dyna-Flow (Buick) and Powerglide (Chevy) confused. Although Dyna Glide is a Harley Davidson product. The video was good though. Im thinking about going into the classic car inspections also! Thanks for posting!

Donny- This is where a video editing class would help me out! You're totally right about the Jetaway tranny, I don't recall what I said, I'd have to go back and watch the video. Confusion definitely sets in when you do as many cars as I do. Thanks for your comments, You'll likely make a great classic car inspector, at least with the Oldsmobiles!

There was a 1956  Oldsmobile for sale in Florida about a month ago. It wasn't a Super, but a clean looking red 88. It may still be on Ebay if you get the hankering to fill your garage!

Unfortunately a not quite as prifessional a video as you'd expect. Everything you describe is EXACTLY what qualified, trained field adjusters like myself have been doing for years. Big insurers are definitely shying away from in house reps in favor of IA's. Are you ICAR certified? Are you on call 24hrs a day? Do you have a high supplement rate or get the shop to sign off on the initial estimate? Do you maintain ALL software platforms and relative training and updates on all? And what COE classes do you attend. Just curious. I've met hundreds of IA's....most can't tell their ass from a hole in the ground.

I cut up the video to make it more fun, more interesting and I am sorry if its hard to keep up with... I have had compliments on the video and complaints... AS USUAL! It's all about hard and smart work. Quick and reliable contact, 24 hr statuses, quick return on supplements. Phone e-mail and voicemailes checked hourly-and called back. Most can wirte an ok supplement. Few do what is mentioned in this blurb. Chris Arena Olympic Damage Appr Gig Harbor Wa.
