Germany Fears Rise Of Far-Right Over Refugee Crisis
Islamophobia In Germany: With the German anti-Islamic group Pegida gaining more support, have they already affected Germany's immigration policy? Behind ...
Dude it makes me wonder why the Europeans bitch about Muslim dominance of
Europe yet they don't go to church themselves. The fasted growing religion
in Europe is Islam. I have been to countries like UK. Muslims are taking
over i tell you. They are constructing new Mosques all over UK. What is
stopping them are the citizens complaining. Most "White Christian" churches
are closing down especially those old cathedrals. The most active churches
are African churches. Most white people i spoke to tell me "They don't
believe in God." They spend more time drinking and on Sundays they are on
hangover. The Muslims are buying off most of the houses all over UK, they
work hard, save money and help eachother to buy homes. When they come into
an area, the whites move out which gives the Muslims an opportunity to take
over that area and make it their community.
Well here in Uganda we always want to interact with the new comers. In our
communities we have people of different tribes living together. We have
some white people, Indians and Pakistanis too living next door but we don't
move out of our communities. All we do is build biiiiiigggg fences around
our homes so we don't give a shit about the neighbors. Well am glad i live
in a poor country (No immigrants, No Muslim Extremists, No
Immigrationofobia). I mean no body wants to come here and that makes me
happy after i saw what UK turned into.
+The Activist How is going to church more often stopping the Islamization of Europe? How fucking dumb to advocate such nonsense! The answer is not more religion but less Islam!
Merkel talked exactly like an internationalist, countries don't matter,
cultures don't matter, her recent actions show that the sooner they are
destroyed the better. Pegida believe countries do matter, cultures do
matter, this is not right wing ,this is a totally different way of
thinking. The two mind sets are totally incompatible with each other,
they are moving further apart by the day, sooner or later something has to
give, when it does it will not be pleasant.
+Kronstadt Sailor Thank you I have just watched it and now know I am right about mind-sets. What ever else he says Bill is spot on about the way Christian Leaders act in Britain.
+54Simon54 Sure sure. Call it how you want. Islam is full of politics. If Muhammad wants today get registration for his cult, he won't get and he immediately sent to the prison. But can i ask, why 1.6 billion muslims don't do nothing to help Syrian muslim refugees? If they want, they can fix it fast. And why they don't fight against Islamic terror? Terrorists ruined their name but seems that they like terrorists.
A young man, arrested at 17 for posting about democracy, is due to be
beheaded and have his corpse crucified in Saudi Arabia in the next week or
so. Hate ISIS? Why are the west in bed with these monsters? Islam is a
violent, exclusionist philosophy. To be rejected IMHO.
This is such a biased documentary, saying things like 55% of Germans of a
"shocking" disapproval of islam. Or even when they switch the music to a
piano delicate song when the muslim woman talks and then to a more tense
"bad guys" song when they talk about PEGIDA. Ridiculous.
+heafy its far right nationalistic violent assholes who are going under reported in the news from a so called left wing press in europe. you rarely see a article like this in a main stream paper and when you do they are either apologists or you see some dumb fuck defending there violent action like our far right cunts in oregon attacking a federal building.
+Marky Mark marky you dont need music to see what they are doing. ive seen them caught on camera from independent journalists the far right are cowards and evil fuckers. hell i dont need to go far to see what they stand for they are entrenched in my country.
+HenrySims Switch the music to a piano delicate song when the muslim woman talks and then to a more tense "bad guys" - that's western propaganda mate lol.
+rc vu "In fact you were the first person to mention race and indeed genocide here. Just a very extreme jump that I feel can easily stifle if not unfairly frame debate." I agree 100%, and I also agree with you that we're on the same page. I'm interested to learn more about the changes you're seeing in Germany and among liberals with respect to attitudes toward Islam, and especially among moderate "westernized" Muslims who don't want a wave of unassimilated fanatics pouring over the borders of European nations. I'll definitely check out the IQ2 debate you linked, as I enjoy their format and topics already but wasn't aware of that particular one.In regard to my extreme remarks, it's just the way I am about posting comments. I emote and react. I generally don't take comment threads very seriously because it doesn't appear that anyone else does. But when I see responses such as yours it gives me reason to step back from whatever opinion I was yelling. Frankly, I could just as easily posted everything you said in this thread, if you had posted what I did. See what I mean? I would react to my own comment as you did, if I saw that someone else posted it. I dislike extremism and sometimes I react extremely against it, but if someone else is reacting extremely then I might step in to be the voice of moderation. It's just a game. I don't know why I do it but it's almost addictive. I was in a doctoral program for 6 years and heated intellectual debate was the oxygen of our social atmosphere. And I grew up with political debate as a feature of the family dinner table, so I do enjoy it as a matter of habit. Are you German? I've had several enjoyable interactions with Germans in random comment threads. Lots of good intellectual activity going on there. When I traveled there as a 19 year old in 1976, I felt right at home an was treated like a native. I don't envy your weather and population density, but you're doing a lot of things quite well and even the radical acceptance of a sudden influx of immigrants is almost unprecedented in compassion, even if somewhat unwise. It's possibly comparable to the response of the US to take in millions of refugees from WWII. But I digress into historical territory with which I'm not adequately acquainted...
+clearwaterlakota Well to be honest, I'm not a German but I'm an European and frankly I do not agree with the quota system being imposed by Merkel to all of the European countries to fill them with muslim refugees. I'm Portuguese, my nation has had several problems with islam throughout our history and our society, actually our whole country was founded on anti muslim principle and we don't see ourselves at all living side by side with muslims or arabs in general. What's wrong in wanting to grow up on the same country that my parents and grandparents grew in? Why is there such a need to multiculturalize everything when a country reaches the EU? We don't and will not bow to the same people who tried to steal our land and wipe our culture centuries ago.
+clearwaterlakota ..."Most of the commenters here sound like they're ready to stop thinking and start goose-stepping to the whoever rises up with a mission to exterminate all Muslims, liberals, and probably anyone with dark skin". This was were you equated criticism of Islam with racism. In fact you were the first person to mention race and indeed genocide here. Just a very extreme jump that I feel can easily stifle if not unfairly frame debate. It's similar to right wing Zionists labeling critics of Israeli foreign policy anti-semetic. At best it's a distraction at worst it's a cheap shot that can be genuinely damaging, although I do think in this case it was hyperbole on your part and not a deliberate attempt to undermine the arguments of others through accusations of racism. I think this is why care needs to be taken when throwing around words like "nazi" and "exterminate" especially if your the person bringing these concepts to the table. To be honest I get the feeling were on the same page or close to it, and I take your point about Islamaphobic attitudes having a great degree of crossover/co existence with racist ones. I think were starting to see a shift away from that paradigm though as it becomes more acceptable amongst liberal, mainstream and leftist groupings to tackle this issue in a frank way. Tbh I think this is being borne out of necessity (or at least the perception thereof) given the current geopolitical climate. Fuck knows, it seems the rational and humanistic mind has few allies in the world today as is so I dont see much benefit in arguing with someone who seems on the level. I'm gunna crack a beer, hit a bowl and chill for tonight man, hope your have a nice evening. That intelligence squared debate I posted a few comments back was really good I thought btw, let me know what you think if you get a chance to check it out. Peace x
most of ur words I can agree with, clearwaterlakota.Well PEGIDA stands not for fascism but against islamofascism rolling over us and raping our females. Btw, many Muslims r frighten of the invasion as well. They escaped off the claws, only to see them being welcomed by dullheaded politicians in Germany.
+rc vu "...to equate criticism of Islam with racism is appallingly narrow minded." I agree, and nowhere did I suggest otherwise. You read that into my words somehow. I stand by my "ad hominem attack." If a person writes like a goose-stepping right wing hate monger then I see no fault in calling them what they're clearly portraying themselves to be. However, I was extremely vague about who I was calling out, referring to "them" only as "most of the commenters here." Maybe that was an exaggeration. My general impression of the majority of YouTube and mainstream media commenters is that they're rabidly right-wing, pro-gun, anti-immigrant, anti-woman, anti-government, and racist. There's a very high correlation between racism and anti-Islam sentiment, probably because both represent categories of humans who are different from the commenter. But of course Islam isn't a race, and I've never thought it was for a second of my life.Lest there be any confusion as to my own feelings about Islam, I consider it to be the ideological equivalent of an aggressive brain tumor. Not a fan. I'd put American evangelicals on par with mainstream Islamic fundementalists, but groups like ISIS can't even be described without inventing a new lexicon.
I'd already seen it, a bit dry to be honest and not hugely relevant to the situation we face with Islam today, more a litany of historical Islamic atrocities. I suppose it's worthwhile in that it highlights the inherently violent nature of Islam however as Dr. Warner admits at start of the video he's "no historian". I have some sympathy with hat he's trying to say but I certainly wouldn't call the piece "unbiased".Watch the debate 'Islam is a religion of peace- intelligence squared U.S." for something a little more even handed. Also there's no need to swear at strangers on the internet and it's spelled 'socrates'. What are you 16? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rh34Xsq7D_A
I'm aware there are a variety of movements inspired by national socialist ideology however in the strict sense of the word Nazi refers to the national socialist arbeiterpartei of Adolf Hitler.
+rc vu There are active NAZI parties in every western country. An unbiased look at Islam can be found by watching "why we are afraid a 1400 year secret."
+clearwaterlakota A pretty unfair generalisation of the previous posters in this thread. I don't think anything inflammatory has been said by anyone except yourself with that ad hominin attack. I would certainly consider myself more on the left politically but to equate criticism of Islam with racism is appallingly narrow minded. If your going to suggest discussing things in a "level-headed" way, please in future, try and have a level head while you do it. Calling people "pro-nazi goose steppers" just makes you look not only ignorant but also a bit of a twat. Also as far as I'm aware the National Socialist Worker's Party has been defunct since 1945.
+Taylor Chambers You inspired me to look it up. I typed "non-a" and Google filled in the rest! So are you saying that in real life, people tend to practice the n-a principle, whereas online they don't because online is just a forum of ideas in which we have no capacity to interfere with another's rights? I'm intrigued. I've been at a loss to explain why there is such a spectacular gap between the level of civility online vs. in real world social situations. I recently started a job in which I'm constantly in contact with large numbers of people from all walks of life, and I've been very happy to discover that the world is a much friendlier and more helpful place than I was thinking it was based on my usual isolation and reading of internet comments. In my own personal experience, I'm a complete asshole a lot of the time online, but with those very same people I would be friendly and could easily have a nice chat over a beer. I rail against Islam sometimes, but I've enjoyed being around every Muslim I've ever known. I rail against right-wing ideology, but one of my best friends is a right-wing radio talk show host and I can't not like him.
+Taylor Chambers I couldn't even pay attention to what the women were saying because the piano was so distracting. It was a bizarre production decision to only have that piano at the exact moments when females spoke, and it pissed me off so much that I stopped watching half way through. I don't agree with all these pro-Nazi hate-mongers, though. There's a more level-headed way to discuss these matters that isn't so extreme in one direction or another. Most of the commenters here sound like they're ready to stop thinking and start goose-stepping to the whoever rises up with a mission to exterminate all Muslims, liberals, and probably anyone with dark skin. That's just as frightening to me as the rise of Islamist extremism. Human beings seem to be polarizing into warring tribes, although in real life people are a lot friendlier and get along far better than you'd ever know from the screaming idiots who dominate internet comments.
+HenrySims It really is appalling, every time that piano loop started again it made me cringe so bad. The overwhelming comments here are quite telling though. People are waking up to the shocking spread of Wahhabi doctrine.

+isa belle Well, then this documentary should have put on the video to make it more balanced. But, they will not because they have that usual dumbshit, leftwing, multiculturalist agenda.
+HenrySims They should have put in the video ISIS beheading people to make the documentary more balanced or shown parts of London where the shiria law is used by the Muslim community. Have you ever heard of the shiria patrol in London? lol It's hilarious. One day it will come to Germany and then would want to see the face of these dumbshit human rights, multiculturalists. Remember, " Islam is the religion of peace". lol
Yes. Apparently its not ok for Journeyman pictures to just disapprove of a religion like lslamI ended my journeyman subscribtion after this biased report.

Dresden Blue's Rope Dart Practice Log 9/15/15 Contact As Seen From Above - Touched (Take 2)
For those following me in meatspace, I've been going through a lot recently. It's amazing the kinds of things you can produce given adequate amounts of angst ...
Girl Anachronism (Another Version) - The Dresden Dolls
LYRICS... 1, 2, 2 1, 2, 3, 4 You can tell From the scars on my arms And the stains on my skirt And the dents in my car And the veins about to burst That I'm not the ...
yes! one of my favorites of any song ever xD its apparently a bit of a joke
at herself, how her mother had some weird issue about numbers, odd ones i
think it was, and amandas birth was set to be on a date which didnt sit
well with her mom, so her mom insisted amanda be born a day early by
caesarian and thusly its always been a sort of joke that amanda is a bit
out of place a bit in the wrong time.. if my explanation wasnt very good
its quite easy to find her talk about it on google :D
Honestly, I like the album version better. Though the layering voices
contain an obviously stronger hint of desperation, I think the quick,
broken up lines in the other song make it seem more "hysterical" and
"unstable" which is kind of the overall mood I gathered from it. Still,
this version is pretty awesome.
My first ever experience with the Dolls. I'm not going to lie I switched
the video off the first time I gave it a go fearing it was going to be one
of those new mid-00's artsy type bands...well they are but in a much more
awesome way musically. Second time was the charm and eight years later here
I am.
@RayneAsylumFreak she only changed the first line, the original words or
the video words are: you can tell from the scars on my arms and cracks in
my hips and the dents in my car and the blisters on my lips that i'm not
the carefullest of girls
First heard this song when I was 12 and fell in love with this song. I'm 14
now and I love this version because it sounds like she can just stop dead
in the middle of the song ad have a massive mental breakdown putting the
listener more on edge
Hey i think this version matches with the video better except for maybe the
end but if you know the video theres the part when she talks on the phone
and in this version her voice sounds like it would though a phone... hmmm?
Its about a type of mental disorder where you believe/or choose to believe
that you've gone back in time, like Victorian or medieval. So they dress in
that era and act and try to live like that era.
I love this version by far the most! I especially like her barking :) But
who cares, it really is a matter of opinion! I think it just matters which
you heard first. I have both versions . . .
i think i like both versions this one is undeniably a good version and
brings out the songs meaning more but the other version was the one i fell
in love with ahh there both great
Does anyone know where I can find the other version of this? I found it
before while looking for Children of Bodom videos and fell in love with
it.. but now I can't find it again!
This song is awesome.Everything seems to come from her heart and thats
where the best music comes from. She puts alot of feeling into singing
this.PLus the lyrics are cool
@DJDizzyness Also, the definition of Anachronism - Out of time. The
reference of an occurance that happened at a point in time not congruent
with the reference made.
I think that's probably the best thing I've heard or saw in a long time. :
D I give it like 93,000 stars on a 5 star scale... being an amatuer
critique and all. : )
Te part that says "Just let her crash and burn she'll learn the attention
just encourages her." remainds me of my friend. She is a major attention
Whore!
I can't get over how awesome it is just listening to how batshit crazy she
sounds in this song.. there need to be more songs like this one in my
opinion.
Anybody know the story to this song? I'm asking because most all Amandas
songs have a personal story relevant to her life behind them.
Boston - Dresden Dolls.wmv

Enjoy! :) Lyrics: You can tell from the scars on my arms and cracks in my hips and the dents in my car and the blisters on my lips that i'm not the carefullest of girls ...
Something thats out of place timewise. Like if someone was using a telegram
in a futuristic world the telegram would an anachronism. In this song
Amanda Palmer is saying she was born in the wrong time period.
Finally! This was the version I had before my computer crashed. Please, can
anyone tell me where to buy it? I've checked both itunes and amazon and
they only have the exetremely harsh version.
@elementsoul43 i heard this before weed,s but that episode brought me back
to it. i think it was genius to put this song there. the music producers of
weeds are like magicians.
they've gotten bigger over the last few years, but they went on hiatus in
late 2008, like september, also, it's the kinda music you love or hate,
very little middle ground.
who can explain me the story of the dresden dolls and tell me why i don't
hear theyre song at the radio or on mtv!!!please It's very important very
splendid song
Well the song is based on herself, if that's what you're referring to.
Though you're right, it's technically not quite "emo" in the way people
think of the word
Well, that is a fucking stupid thing to say! This is NOT emo, for gods
sake...
Dresden/Rachel Blue, Rope Dart Practice Log 10/20/13
Practice log for today. I haven't been spending much free practice time with my dart recently - what dart time I've had has been devoted to rehearsing ...
Best of luck! If you aren't already, I'd suggest dropping by the rope dart
tech group over on FB - lots of different styles and approaches to pour
through there. Heh, not that many haters; I think the one hardest on me is
myself, and the "oh it's not martial therefore wrong" spiel just rolls
right off of me now. XD But thank you for the encouragement.
I highly suggest any jibberjazz shows. we have an indoor show coming up in
December. check out jambase there has been a show every weekend from April
till last weekend in pa (we are blessed with a great scene) i typically
only venture into ny for work. i worked at the big up and bella terra this
year they were both good shows. where are you from?
Whoa, quite a list there! Thanks muchly. I'll see if I can work out
anything that'll give me a travel stipend of some sort to perform or teach.
:-) I hadn't heard of the others, but a few folks have suggested Bella
Terra to me already and I've had my eye on it for a while now. I've just
moved to Oakland CA; previously I lived in Portland OR.
I just started training with a rope dart. so you can imagine I have been
doing alot of research on everything to do with it. I have to say you have
one of the best styles I have ever seen, and I'm not just saying that. So
don't listen to the haters. You are doing a great job.
Love this. I just stumbled on it. I have been doing similar things with
nunchacku (with considerably less grace). Like to see where you are taking
it ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9Zolj8O8oE
