@sj797919 I've been very happy with the product. If you listen to a lot of
techno music or dance music it does struggle with the frequency saturation
in that style of music as it is broadcasting of the FM bands. I don't so it
doesn't matter and it stops my kids doing it :). It can also sometime
rotate and fall to the side if you go around a corner fast, this will
depend on the position of your lighter plug and can be fixed by firmly
pushing the device in. Hope that helps, I'm happy with it.
@pachris ok well there you go. As I said the one I have now, is 100% fine
and the sound is clear. I haven't used any other Belkin tuners, and no one
else makes a base like this, as far as I know, so I as yet I have nothing
to compare it to. So I can really only go on my experience and that is that
Beklin customer service was great and the product I have now works and
works well. Sorry to hear you have had only bad experiences, I hope you
find something that does work.
Its belkin so you know its garbage, not a bad few.. everyone has issues
with it. FM transmitters are iffy at best. I hate to say it because the
actual mount is really cool. Clearscan picks busy frequencies, the static
is crazy (music is so so but nav voice is terrible). I haven't had issues
with the mount dropping under the weight of the phone since mine rests
against the edge of the center console but others have. I had to ground
mine in order to get rid of static.
Yeah, it has to be plugged in to have power, it in fact, it charges the
iPhone. If you are looking for a home option, go for the Apple Airport
Express and use airplay to send music wirelessly either from your computer
or iPhone to your stereo.
Will the Iphone power this device or does it have to be plugged into the
cigarette lighter the whole time? I would like to use it on my home stereo
as well as in the car.
Is it pushed in properly? I find that it can take a little playing with to
get it to sit properly in the socket. I did have issue with my first one
and had it replaced.
@ningaboyful Well if you get all ya ninga friends to join it could be you.
Be sure to like all the videos as that helps get more views. Thanks for
your support.
Belkin don't make this product for Galaxy Phones, but I have a new set up
and I will be doing a video soon (I hope), and it will work with any
Bluetooth device.
I bought one for about $8.00 at Microcenter in Illinois.

@casper123 If you can get one for pretty cheap it would be a nice add-on
cause it is a very nice cradle and charger but the quality could just be a
little better or put out a stronger signal. Other report that it works
great but I think it depends on the car, radio, antenna position, etc.
I have the same unit a friend gave me when he bought a new car. I guess the
bottom came loose i found the fuse , little nipple everything else but the
spring. Do you know the length and width of the spring that goes behind
the fuse..Thanks
I reaally need one of those for my ipod. Sick of burning CDs when i want to
listen a particular album on my car... Sure the CD quality is probably
better but it's so much more practical using a mp3 player. :P
I just bought one at a garage sale for USD $1 (yes, one dollar). It is
model F8z441 with the B00 sticker meaning it has the recall fix.
It charges and the tuning buttons and display work fine but I have yet to
get any signal or even a response from the talk button. Either latest iOS 7
doesn't support it or my unit has some wires damaged allowing charge only.
My guess is iOS but I am searching for solutions before i dissect this over
designed charge cable ;-).
Yes, this is a piece of crap...had the first one replaced, and the
replacement one has recently died as well without warning. Lousy
quality...won't be getting any Facebook like from me !
