If I am not mistaken the sole purpose for the mosfet is for the switch
only, you would then need reset fuses. For dual 18650 it would require two
15amp fuses giving you a total of 30 amp. I do not know if it would be the
same for 26650 though. This should provide you with some safety of going
over the amp load or overloading your batteries provided you have the
correct coil ohm build for your amp limit. From my understanding that is!
With a single effest 35A battery on a mech mod the lowest ohm in safe range
is .3, a .2 could be used but is just under its limits for amp draw. It
could be used but not too frequently also it will drain the battery a lot
faster. I know some cloud chasers out there push the threshold with ultra
sub ohms like .08 or lower which is extremely hot, however this could only
be done with the bigger 26650 batteries with high amp limits. My favorite
ohm builds from .3 to my sweet spot of .4ohm, I also have a .2 build with
22ga A1 Kanthal; but it is a battery killer!
That is a very clean box. A mosfet is no protection for you. or your box.
Mt Washington Mod Shop is based out of Mt Washington, Ky - just south of
Louisville. Their boxes rock the house. There's also no such thing as a
"super strong" button for box mods. Now I have to head on over and get
reacquainted with Vapers Nation. LOL
