I love mine! Not a big fan of the thumb hole stock either. Going to look around to see what more traditional furniture I can find for it.

+TheMeJustMe75 I refinished mine and it is gorgeous.... and still I hate it. Mine is blood red with a gloss clear coat, not that liver failed yellow jaundice that comes factory. Still... I really want it to look and function like an AK, with the accuracy of the mak90.

+Shock Back63 I can buy that. Most times the use of Polytech means pre-ban. I've personally never seen a Poly ban-era MAK. Interesting, wasn't trying to call you a liar. My apologies.

I beg to differ..." MAK-90" is stamped on the left side of the receiver, as well as the manufacturer...Polytechnologies. Receivers don't lie. I bought it new in 1992. It is obviously not pre-ban.

+Shock Back63 No such thing as a Polytech MAK. If you have a pre ban Polytech, it is not a MAK. It is a 762S or a Legend and worth a mint.
