this case offers very MINIMAL protection. it also depends on how your phone hits the ground with this case. if dropped and ur phone hits concrete face-flat, rest assured your phone will not be protected. if it hits the ground at an edge, u have a higher probability of ur phone surviving the impact. if u constantly drop your phone, you'd want to invest in a case designed to protect it from drops, ie Otterbox Defender. the downside to these types of cases are the bulkiness of it. hope this helps.

like any other case, there are some downsides to this. one of them in my opinion is the bulkiness of it. but if you really are a fans of vans shoes, i would totally get this because all the other cool things about it definitely outweigh the bad. try to get it through retail price. looks like you missed out on the restock at the vans online store but try calling also your local vans store. i wouldnt advice u to pay more than $40 for this case though if u are thinking of buying it from resellers

I saw the post... i must admit that the packaging looks like the item is legit... but i'd still buy with caution through ebay... i just checked the vans website and the only available color they have still is the white edge with brown waffle backing... so i'd question the authenticity of it... but hey, it's $10 only so u wont really lose much by trying... at the very least, u lose $10 for a fake product... at most, u get a case u'd like for a third of the original price... hope this helps...

lol... thanks man... they have been re-stocking the vans website quite often this month (April). u might want to check the site once a day and im sure u'll catch it in-stock easily... but u gotta check it in the morning cos it goes out of stock fast... im sure they are also gearing up to stock the vans stores in ur local malls so it wont hurt to call them as well if they'll have any shipments arriving soon...

considering purchasing a iphone 4 pretty soon and this case is pretty sick, how does this case hold up for dropping your phone? =i don't want to have an iphone and be scared shitless to drop it especially with no warranty, please give me some feedback if this case is good for actually protecting your phone or if its just a snazzy cover

I can vouch, the ebay ones are legit. I have one from ebay and my girlfriends sister has one from Vans direct, theyre the EXACT SAME. The only difference is that the ebay ones probably did not pass quality control from the factory. My case is not as cleanly cut as hers is but they feel exactly the same.

Sorry i missed this. I have the iphone 4, which is what i used as the model phone in the video. My wife has the iphone 4s, which is what i used in shooting this video. the case both works for the 4 and 4s models.

If you want your Vans Case to fit tighter all you have to do is just drop it in hot water, the hot water shrinks the rubber! Fits like skinny jeans now :)

both shoes in the video are the vans otw bedfords. the gray ones are the "native american" model and the dark olive ones are the "eric elms"

Yes it does fit well in your pocket but I wouldn't recommend doing so. First reason is that the case is rubber and it tends to stick inside your jean pockets. Secondly, depending on the jean that you wear, the colors might rub off onto the phone case. I usually use this case when I have a book bag or a camera case on me so that I do not dirty up the case that much. If you have any other questions feel free to ask, and thanks for watching!

naw its not fake, i thought the ones with the black ring around the camera hole were fake, but i just got my case and it has a black ring as well. you know its fake when ur case doesnt fit 100% and ur phone is able to move in the case. the fake ones arent cut properly too. at the silent button hole the fake ones have rubber leftovers, whereas the real ones are cut properly
