i followed ur steps and then a couple of minutes after i get a signal a message pops up saying sim failure.. and i do the same thing over again and the same thing happens.. i think its my sim card.. i think i cut it wrong mine doesnt fill up the whole gevey tray and fills from the bottom to the black thing but not the corner i would like to show u a video of this..

@BeijingiPhoneRepair Still says the same thing "No SIM card installed" I cut the heck out of the sim though its pretty small. When I slide the sim in with the turbo sim its kind of squirms around on the sim slot till I put it inside I think it stays put. so the sim card is a little to small to stay on the sim but I put it in anyway and it didnt work.

@BeijingiPhoneRepair Yup it still doesnt work. I did watch the video and all the steps. Could I just have messed up the sim card possibly? am I able to go to my t-mobile store and ask them to give me a micro sim so I wont have to do all this? and i did clean the SIM card

@BeijingiPhoneRepair When I did 112 first, Then toggle airplane then turned off, then did airplane mode again and turned off it says the same thing. Could I have messed up the sim card?

@erod0601 try to take out the SIM and clean the contacts with a soft cloth, then put it in gently, switch off iPhone (also make sure 3G is disabled), then watch this video

@erod0601 tap on airplane mode one more time and you will see SIM failure, toggle one more time then it should start searching for network

@erod0601 if you insert your SIM card and getting no SIM card installed error then it's your SIM card
