Haha DRagon fortress, I've don business with him. He gave us a bearded
dragon,a and it passed away sadly, and he was real nice and gave me a ball
python instead.
PA Legislators Discuss Live Pigeon Shoots
Members of the Pennsylvania Senate Judiciary Committee discuss a bill to ban PA's infamous, outrageously cruel live pigeon shoots. The meeting portion of the ...
+Thomas Blackburn It is, unfortunately, nowhere. The NRA continues to do everything possible to keep the bill bottled up, and PA humane societies refuse to actively protest the carnage.
stupid question -why don't these pigeon shooters raise their own
pheasant/ducks and then get a bill/law pass to make a designated hunting
ground /forest/acreage to release the pheasant/birds to later be hunted
at a set number of birds for actual processing/human consumption. then
these hunters can have a good meal from their sport. or is it that they are
to lazy to actually go out and hunt for food/sport like their forefathers
use to do. just seems like the lodge/hunting club could make it a
legal-profitable business just as easy as not being a legal business.as
the senator said allowing the animal to be hunted /chased/ to flee just
saying pennsyltucky could designate lands to be hunted on and restocked
with birds just like they do for fishing with fisheries.and the pigeon
shooters club could actually be the ones to raise the birds under contract
with the county/state and actually make money on the deal while being
legal. blahblahblahblah
+John barfneck Normal humans have demonstrated a great capacity for change, but in all seriousness, these aren't normal humans. Pigeon shooting is actually a lot more expensive the regular hunting, because someone is raising and/or capturing birds for the events. Pigeon shooters don't want to hunt - they just want to shoot and kill. They don't want the effort end, and they have no intention of eating their kills. It is said that pedophilia is incurable. We believe that the same is true for these people. They have a sickness in which they can never spill enough blood to satiate them. We know of only one reformed pigeon shooter. He joined because he loved to shoot and it was suggested that he try pigeon shooting. He did - but almost immediately walked away from it, because he knew that it was wrong.
that's the whole point -they can change just like you can change ....right??? you can be taught new things right? -so why cant they be taught new ways to hunt while keeping their business a profitable one. in other words the criminals become contributing members of society again instead of the black sheep of pennsyltucky. just saying it could be done while teaching a new generation of hunters to actually hunt responsibly for their sport/meals just like their forefathers use to do in order to survive in the "wilds" of pennsyltucky.right???
These aren't hunters. These are sickos who simply want to walk up to a line of boxes and kill animals. They don't want to track them or touch them or clean or eat them. They just want to kill.
Know of a Pennsylvania Pigeon Shoot?
As the 2012 hunting season approaches, SHARK investigators are searching for Pennsylvania's infamous, cruel and cowardly live pigeon shoots, and we're ...
I do understand that what they were/are doing was/is terrible, but if its
legal, why would they do anything? I'm pretty positive that at least ONE
officer would do something if it wasn't. Also just because something legal
is bad, doesn't mean you need to make it a national crisis (I do realize it
is bad and I'm against it) But take smoking for example, it's bad, but
nearly nothing gets done for that. It's all personal choices right? I
don'trun up to people and smack cigarettes outof ther hands.
Okay then, surely an out of the area state police officer would do
something. Not all officers are "corrupt" as you may call them. Even if the
local are being paid off, couldn't you guys go somewhere like another
barracks of some sort? Also from your previous videos, not ALL of
Pennsylvania is terrible. I found that to be a misjudgment. You can't make
out that all of the people here are jackasses. Many are wonderful people.
Therefore that makes you people the jackass. But your causes are good.
Point blank: "yes " or "no". Do you believe it should remain illegal to
shoot live caged animals for entertainment? There's no question in a sane
persons mind that it's cruel and wrong. Americans (for now) still have the
right to protest...also paying for info is very common and effective. What
sport is there in farm raising an animal and shooting it (for fun) when it
emerges from it's fence or cage? Honestly, do you believe shooting caged
live animals for entertainment should remain illegal?
Seems like youve invested alot of time into this for no real reason and
have achieved nothing from it, i understand you care for these pigeons but
are you really investing youre time in a worthy cause? Are pigeons, a bird
who is over populated in parts of the U.S and has no risk of being in
danger any time soon the real reason youre doing this? Because, at this
point it seems like your doing this to get even with the people behind it
and not for the animals. Just an observation.
It is getting to be hunting season and I can't wait either. Oh but wait,
I'm a hunter that goes out and actually hunts. I walk the field. I don't
use dogs to flush my prey or retrieve what I shoot. I don't throw birds out
of a box, they actually have a chance at survival. I never leave a wounded
bird because I don't take shoots i know I can't really make. Do I get my
limit - most times no. But I know what I shoot I eat. thanks for all you do
SHARK.
i got a pennsylania laws to relating to firearms booklet that i got at the
sheriff office and i saw this under cruelty to animals: The statute
specifically prohibits the killing of homing or antwerp pigeons. A person
commits a summary offense if he shoots, maims or kills any antwerp or
homing pigeon, either while on flight or at rest, or detains or entraps any
such pigeon which carries the name of its owner." 18 Pa.C.S. §5511(k)
Oh yeah, giving you those views to make that proverbial youtube money :P I
took a look at your site and you seem to think all hunting is animal abuse.
I sir am a hunter and not for any "thrill of the kill" but because it
stocks our freezer. What is more humane to you, one shot one kill (in most
cases) or the slaughter house line of death? We actually hunt because of
financial reasons, but to say we are abusive is just total BS.
You are correct, you guys didn't word for word call us "jackasses".
Although in one of your videos I was watching yesterday, a man (may it be
you or not) did say that ALL people in PA were terrible people. I am not
positive in which video and I don't feel like going through 370 videos, but
all I do know is that the man did say it. It may have been in the heap of
the moment and he may have not have meant it, but he did say it.
I can only hope that karma will be visited on these people. Often, thats
the only type of justice or recourse anyone can hope for in matters like
these, where seemingly nothing is being done, even with SHARKs efforts....
Eventually, the universe/God/whatever will mete its judgement on those. I
just wish we could see it when it happens.... Keep up the good work
SHARK.....
There are some who are not 'cuddly bunny people' who just don't like what'
goes on at pigeon shoots, didn't know what could be done, or know that law
enforcement won't do anything about it and will feel motivated by a couple
extra bucks. What's it to you if it means exposing more animal abusers,
unless you're one of them not wanting to be exposed.
Where, in any of our posts, did you read or hear us allude to 'all people
in PA are jackassess'? We can tell you where: nowhere. PA people come out
to help us when we film the cruelty, help catch the wounded birds, help get
them to vets/rehab. Seems the jackass you're referring to is most likely in
your mirror.
@InItForTheParking He's not slamming hunters he exposing people shooting
trapped animals. Ive seen pigeon shoots its a bunch of old men how cant
shot worth shit and have to shoot trapped birds and often don't get clean
kills. I hunt and this is not ethical its disgusting.
You might want to get some help for that yeast infection, it's clearly
fried your brain. I wonder what the world would be like, if it wasn't
driven by sex and money. NO-one I know in the USA considers this part of
their "culture". You really take the cheesey cake.
Much respect to you Steve (and your other assistants) for doing the
important and ethical work you do! You have garnered my utmost respect, and
I will keep on posting your videos on 'facebook' for all to see, and I am
sending in another contribution. THANK YOU!
You actually consider shooting domestic birds launched out of boxes right
in front of you 'hunting'? You actually think buying your way into shooting
these birds for fun and dumping the carcasses, dead and wounded to rot, is
sound financial reasoning?
Some people just get alot of enjoyment out of killing. They feel they are
big tough men because they can rip a life away at their own will, play God
if you like. Others can be more sadistic and like to cause pain and watch
suffering.
All of your videos/attitudes make me want to find and support the shooters.
And I love how you make all comments on all videos require approval but
then bitch when the land owners and police try to censor you.
i know that it is part of US of A culture.. but.. you undermine your
credibility and disrespect your viewers .. by offering rewards.. you cuddly
bunny people are surely driven by love .. not money..
You've been busy, haven't you? You want to find these guys? Just dig down
to the very bottom layer of the human gene pool. You know, the sludge. I
think you're pretty close already.
What happened to clay Pigeons ? It would seem to be a better target for
everyone involved..why shot at live birds,,,seems to me no sport and no
brains..
