I'm not sure if i agree with you on this one, the world may appear to be on the right track with arguably reduced poverty and violence but for how long can this remain. If we think about the old arguments of the physical limits to growth, or Hirsch's ideas of the social limits to growth, this type of development and growth can only exist in the capitalist system we live in for a finite period of time. Continued economic growth is unsustainable due to the finite resources on the planet but economic growth is necessary within the capitalist system to ensure it does not collapse. The economy needs to expand fast enough to offset labour demands and ensure there is not a downward pressure of unemployment. Continued economic growth is not sustainable but it is also necessary in the system we currently live in so what can be done? A drastic restructuring of our society is necessary built with the concerns of finite resources at its core. This will be the most prominent issue of our lifetimes, we must change our focus to sustainable regeneration rather than ideas of increased development.

Yes it will. Solar and wind are more advanced technologies than coal and oil. But they are expensive to implement, so an improved economy will be needed if we are to use them.

The gap between rich and poor is larger than it ever has been, world wide - child deaths are on the rise because of starvation and disease and the homeless population continues to grow and be forgotten. He's using his ACCURATE data as a tool persuade people who are spectical because we all know some people cannot be persuaded strictly by ideas with no backing. He is merely using data as a reinforcment to this idea, not the only recource. Mankind is improving whether you want to say "Fuck his data" (That is not his own data. It is data of countless philosophers that are smarter and much more well travelled than you and I with ever be) or not. Im not trying to start and argument but dont please dont completely dismiss all of this. Because you must at least believe some part of this to be true. And i dont get how "needing data to tell you something" is being out of touch. That is how humans operate. We observe and then catergorize DATA into opinons and ideas.

I like this concept. However, I dislike the fact that you used AE for the text. The text is hard to read and a little obscured with the textures around/on it. It made me pause the video several times to comprehend. (I believe that you made a typo at 0:22 - 'goign') Simple text over the video would have sufficed. That said, a good video nonetheless. Thank you!

+Cook With Rania no filmora is the easiest one to use and its so good if you will use imovie or sony vegas their so faimos but hard to use and so expensive or if you checked wondershare video editer its $50 but filmora is $19 and its better than other apps other app you will create you own thing to do if it taked with you 30 min to do it in filmora it will take 3 hours with other app so filmora is the easiest i made all my videos with it its easy and good so the choise is for you
