Congratulations to the organizers, moderator, panelists and the respondents on launching this important discussion! You have done a significant service by unfolding some of the theological and contextual background of this encyclical. I, especially, appreciated Mary Evelyn's and Teresa's presentations. Unfortunately, noise distracted from much of Joanna's remarks. The respondents enriched the program, as well as questions from the audience. This presentation deserves widespread attention.
