One thing I'd say for future games, make the first few levels a little bit
easier. I'm still stuck on the first boss. It's taken me like 4 hours and
I'm still nowhere. Am I doing something wrong? If not, then that would be
my only judgement. Apart from that, I LOVE THE GAME SO FAR AND IT BRILLIANT
OMG
Wait I don't get it. He kickstarted it, but still needs to sell 20k copies
to turn a profit? A profit on what investment? You just said that the
investment came from kickstarter.
I'm sure the YouTube comment section is filled with economic experts.
Someone help me understand.
+Crosh Vee Yeah... I... Really don't blame you for being cynical...I quickly looked back and he basically said the exact opposite of what I suggested. So there's a funny joke.
So I pirated the .apk of this game (Tom, if you don't like that you should
have put up a free demo so we can try before we throw our money) and I must
say it's very underwhelming for £2. You know what was £3 last night on
steam? Tomb Raider 2013. I uninstalled this within minutes. It's boring.
Just "Ha ha look a cat exploded lol ha do you want to see that another
5000000000 times?" Just tap cats and occasionally tap your character. Maybe
it would be better as a free game.
+glitchsmasher were you not just saying... ugh... no.....no....no..... ARCH YOUR MOM SHOULD HAVE DROPPED YOU A SECOND TIME,YOU JUST SAID YOU PIRATED AN APK AND HATED IT, YOU MUST BE THE MIRACLE CHILD RESULTING FROM ANAL SEX, FOR YOU SIR ARE FULL OF FUCKING SHIT!!! Nope. Still Happy: D
+Jonathon Clark-Hansen I'm alone so I'm wrong? No. Bad argument. Just because you have a different opinion on piracy doesn't mean you're right. I'll keep on spamming your notifications as much as I want. I feed on your tears.
+The Zednoughts If you had read the comment thread, or even past the word "Pirated" in my original comment you'd know I pirated to try before I bought it. I do this with every game that doesn't have a demo because I don't like wasting money. I don't see why you're nitpicking that I was 50p off on the original price. And at this point, after Tom's stupid reactions, especially the first one, I hope he does run out of money.
+SuperXtreme8 Maybe if he could include a demo so I could try it before I buy it I would have to pirate it. Maybe if people read that whole sentence I wouldn't have to explain this a million times.
+Fabby Zolezzi No shit it's my opinion! Why do you need me to spell it out? also everyone seems to be pissed off that I pirated it. I do this with every game, pirate it and play for about half an hour, if I like it I buy it, if I don't, I don't. I uninstalled it. Also I'd like to bring up something unrelated, Tom's stupid comment he left from his main account "You literally stole the game I don't care what you think" What a tool. Maybe he should learn to take criticism a bit better.
+Jonathon Clark-Hansen It took me a lot less that £2 to download it. Google search "Katatak apk", click a site I recognise and click download. Then just put it on my phone. Not rocket science.
+CiIDriveDeCoach Why don't you read the whole comment chain before posting a reply and while you're at it, why don't you learn how to argue without mindlessly insulting somebody?
+SaveThePrincess Just to be clear, i didn't steal the game. And it is my right to complain that the product that i paid for was not worth the price that i bought it for. Same with glitchsmasher, he clearly indicated that he pirated it just to test because of the lack of a demo or lite version. Also like i already said: the 99c are not the problem. The problem is that paying for digital goods is really difficult if you're underage (What i assume would be the main demographic for a smartphone game).
+SaveThePrincess I am a musician/producer with little to no fanbase but if i actually ever get to the point where people would want to pirate my music, i'd say "Go for it! Be sure to share it with your friends!". There are many people who either haven't got the money, have no way to pay for it (No CC for example) or simply aren't sure if it is worth their money. In my opinion it is against my responsibilities as a creative person to actively prevent people from experiencing my work. I am also in the process of coding an android app (music production related) and i am planing to charge 99 cents for it. And for those who decide to pirate it i will include a little pop up at the start that says "Naughty naughty pirate ;) Use it as long as you want, buy it if you like it! Xoxo Binary"
+SaveThePrincess That's a very unfair comparison! The store owner looses the item, the digital publisher doesn't. Theoretically he even profits from this because people buy the game that wouldn't have bought it otherwise. For example, i wouldn't have bought minecraft if i weren't able to experience the game before buying it."Piracy is not theft, If you steal a car, the original is lost. If you copy a game, there are simply more of them in the world. There is no such thing as a ‘lost sale’. Is a bad review a lost sale? What about a missed ship date?"- Markus Persson
+SaveThePrincess You did not understand his comment, did you? Ever heard about "try before you buy"? And he is right! The game is boring! The only thing that kept me from returning the game is that Tom guilt tripped me with this "We need to sell 20000 copies to make a profit" shit.
+DarkSquidge I did not steal the game. I downloaded it to try it before buying so I could see if I liked it and then uninstalled it within minutes. Want a screenshot of my phone? Yeah sure it's cheap, for a content filled and competent game, but I've gotten a lot better for free. Also, I'd like to point out that I didn't insult you at all in that comment (Unless you take offence from me saying the comedy style is pants) yet you feel the need to call me a 'prick'. Mature! Unsubbed.
