En Android no puedes llamar ni recibir llamadas, pero funcionan los SMS y por lo tanto puedes usar Whatsapp.

yer i do have one ive had it for ages and i know all there is to know about it if i wanted android then i would have an android phone this is a maemo phone, maemo is better than android in alot of ways, android has alot of features that are alot better but i prefer my maemo over android anyday. i dont play games. i have better things to do

@bradleyrhys because n900 is one of the phones that can run almost everything, and if u had one, you would know that we don't have many games on maemo, that's why we are installing android ;) i really need to upload a new video, it's very fast now and you can do many many things !

lol why would you run an n900 with android. it defeats the purpose of having an n900. the n900 is exclusive because its the only phone that runs maemo 5. if u want an android phone that doesnt run android very well then get a motoblur. troll

Oi, gente do faixamobi, meu nome e Emerson Eu sou de Mocambique na Africa, e eu tenho um N900 com problemas e eu gostaria de pedir a vossa ajunda eu tentei fazer o dual boot no n900 mas depois eu removi a bateria do celular antes que o processo fosse terminado e apagou o maemo e o android agora o telefone quanto eu ligo ele mostra no ecra o multi boot selection mas nao tem nenhum OS para que eu possa selecionar me ajudem a restaurar o telefone ao seu OS normal.

@andrekabelim Por enquanto a função telefone não está funcionando (pelo menos no Gingerbread que foi o que testei). E sim, o Nitdroid 0.0.9 corresponde ao Android 2.2. Use o tutorial do Maemo.org mesmo. Foi o que eu usei.

@lebsgueb2011 o Android no N900 é apenas um experimento e muito básico. Confesso que não me lembro se ele rodava multitarefas (hoje não estou mais com esse aparelho). Mas me lembro que ele tinha diversas restrições.

Uma correção:O nokia N900 não é o único que faz Dual Boot,o Motorola a1200 faz o Dual Boot também.Pergunta:A customização dele é completa?Exemplo,eu posso instar lauchers e jogos sem nem um problema?

after closer inspection on the mother board of the n9 there doesnt seem to be a micro sd card on the n9 either....... same as the E7 this will be a big let down...even if does have the rumoured 64gb chip

only 4gbs of phone storage the droid 2 has 8gbs of phone storage and it comes with a preinstaled 8gb micro sd card so thats 16gbs of storage!! proves apple sucks huge ball sack when it comes to phones

it has been revealed to be called the E7 which is the keyboard version of the N8.

Actually it's N8 without the physical QWERTY and this one is rumored to be N9.
