The fade to 5 was not my favorite either. I forgot to turn up the mids when
looping before the beat kicked in, so it sounded a bit weak. Also, note
that I mixed this with keyboard/mouse only. I couldn't control all knobs
and faders like I can now, recently got a controller. Thanks for pointing
it out, though. Any input is appreciated!
Hey dude, I would say to include S02's Luv Sic 3 extended version or his
Jeff Resurrection tribute one as it has cleaner vocals. Also I figured you
were going for an "Alt Mix Luv Sic Part 1-6" video. Modal Soul Luv Sic Not
sure for 2 Extended or Jeff for 3 Not sure for 4 Jumpster Part 5 Hiroto
Part 6
I would really like to know what was going on inside of Jun's head when he
came up with this stuff. Every other beat that I've heard by other
producers seems fathomable, but not any of his music. He was taken from us
way to soon. His music always gives me the feels and that doesn't happen
often.
I think when you talked about bpm in the description its doubled as when I
put it in my dj program luv sic 1 comes up as 93bpm and that's with a beat
on a kick and another on the snare (compared to 186bpm where the high hats
are counted as beats :p) just thought id point it out :)
Nujabes(Jun Seba) is the one responsible for the beats/instrumental.
Shing02 (the lyricist and close friend to Jun) is the one who does the
lyrics for the Luv Sic series, when Jun died they discovered that he had
recorded instrumentals. So, Shing02 did the lyrics.
3 dislikes....who could possibly dislike this...I'm sorry...I am a hip-hop
fiend but I can understand someone disliking even Illmatic (and I love
Illmatic). This is amazing...this is the what hip-hop should
be...hell...this is what music should be.
Thanks for all the kind comments and likes. I appreciate it you take the
time to listen to my very first mix, and appreciate Jun and Shingo's
amazing work. I know you're all Nujabes fans out there, and for that, I
love and salute you. -Mugi
His music is so beautiful. Maybe I'm the only one who feels this way, but
it's like I can -feel him- when I'm listening to his music. It touches me
that deeply. Continue to rest in peace, Nujabes. You are dearly missed.
When will I ever listen to Luv (sic) and not cry? I don't think that day
will ever come. This music is simply too powerful to sit still to. RIP
Nujabes, no one will EVER touch the masterpiece that you've created.
I have heard multiple remixes/combinations of luv sic and I am not sure if
you did this yourself, but the switch to part 3 was fantastic, however the
switch to part 4 and part 5 was a little awk
I don't care about views, really. I'm happy there's 38,149 people who
listened to my mix, therefore there's 38,149 more people who appreciate the
same music I love the most.
This collection is so powerful to me. You can definitely tell that both
artists put a lot of soul into them. The transition from the beginning to
the end is so flawless,
Oh, so you're a /mu/tant? I got here from my love for Nujabes. Thought
Nujabes wasn't avant garde enough for /mu/... Either way, greetings from
your nor/mlp/eople.
Thanks! Great idea! I guess I'll start working on a Luv Sic mix with Part
1, 2, 3, 4, Jumpster's Part 5, Nujabes's Part 5, Nujabes Part 6 and Hiroto
part 6 :D
I feel you bro. You should listen to Haruka Nakamura's latest album
Melodica. Some tracks are actually Nujabes tracks, he worked on them before
he died.
