I have the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 and when tried this method the controller would not sync at all. From my understanding the device being used needs to be rooted, which my tablet isn't rooted. What version of Android you are using and is your tablet rooted?

It wasn't rooted when I made the video. The controller won't tell you its synced it will keep flashing as it is not. You must hit the button on the dongle first then your controller
