eBook used in review: Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne.
I've been having fun picking out the public domain texts you use for your
reviews. My favorite is the Calculus Made Easy PDF. I use it to test the
PDF functionality of all my devices and apps! Great review Nathan, but Sony
should be publicly shamed for not upgrading their E Ink screen or font
rendering technology. The new Kobo Glo and Kindle Paperwhite will feature
1024 x 768 high resolution E Ink screens.
Yes, and they arent going back to metals. I was at first disappointed, I
saw it as "cheap", but readers have been getting slimmer and lighter, and
it feels great. Its easier to hold, lighter to carry, making it more
practical. Its not a matter of quality now, but of modern design. After
all, carhandles are not metal made since the 80s...
'The Question of Non-Being? A Pragmatic Methodology of Casino Contingency'
book can be read on a wide variety of e-reading devices, including
Blackberry, Kindle, Nook, Sony Readers and all tablets including the iPad.

Thank you for this nice review. I was thinking about replacing my PRS-T1
with the new PRS-T2 but as u clearly show, there are not that much
differences. Just one question: Is the PRS-T2 faster with large PDF-files
(about 30MB or more)? Sometimes my PRS-T1 needs a lot of time to open these
PDFs.
Ah, I wasn't even aware of a new Kindle. I have a Nook Touch (no glowlight,
sadly) and that has met my needs thus far so I don't really research what's
out there any more. Definitely plan to upgrade to a light-equipped one
though one day, it's a very cool feature.
Speed is relative. This prst2 is actually not slow compared to my old
ereader called Irex. The speed of everything is perfect for me since it is
a reader and not a laptop. Battery life is very good too.
Could you tell me if you need to have a credit card to read books on this
device or on the nook . I don't live in the US and just need this to load
my. Epub books to read on the go.
Is it possible to read and make notes on a pdf file that is converted from
a bunch of .jpeg files? Like I scanned a book and put them together and
converted it to a pdf-file.
one question, Is this device supports JPG? I have manga and books
downloaded as JPG, and I want to copy them from my pc to this sony reader
to read it… is it possible?
Seems like a good device. But for college books on pdf format, do you
recommend this e-reader, another model or maybe just a tablet like an iPad?
Thanks in advance.

Hi!
Can you please explain how we can convert epub into kobo's epub. I have
converted it through calibre through a plugin but when I transfer the file
in my Glo HD, it doesn't appear.
+Ritika Dhamija You can find all the info about it at MobileRead, either in the Kobo forum or the Calibre forum. I mostly only convert the other way around.
Hi! Thanks for the review. Do you have a tutorial or a set of instructions
on how to add the page layout setting for showing the header and footer? I
would really like to do that on my Kobo.
+Astrid van hal Hi I have a quick question for you? On your ereader can you make Public Notes. This feature is on the app. You connect with Facebook and you make comments while you read and chat with other people as well.
+Astrid van hal There's no noticeable difference in performance, just slightly better contrast. Mostly Carta is just a marketing tactic to get people to think they need to upgrade, same with 300 ppi screens. The Kobo Aura HD still has one of the best-looking displays on the market. The screen is the last reason to upgrade it.
+Astrid van hal I've never noticed any difference with ghosting with Carta. It's part of the technology. I posted a Carta vs Pearl screen comparison awhile back: //blog.the-ebook-reader.com/2013/11/11/screen-comparison-e-ink-carta-vs-e-ink-pearl/
+Astrid van hal Adding an extra 35 ppi and removing the memory card slot isn't something I'd really consider an upgrade. Otherwise they are pretty much identical, aside from the screen size of course.
