I happens every time you are browsing between pages and using the screen
and not only in the browser, if you use an iOS device by touching it, it
will block everything it is doing, 0 multitasking for a better general
fluidity (in theory).
Yeah... so? Who in their right mind would use a tablet as the way you do?
Who scrolls on an 0% loaded page and sticks their finger there for more
than a few miliseconds?!?
Android 4.2 (JELLY BEAN) on HTC Vision (Desire Z / G2)
This is the first AOSP ROM, with Android 4.2, on the HTC Vision. Release: 20. Nov. 2012 Published by: flinny Quelle: www.flinny.org Support devices: HTC ...
do u know if recent apps, released within the last couple of months, will
work? also apps not downloaded via the play store? I've been told that 4.2
works but few apps do. thanks

Yea, but major tech magazines sometimes miss stuff just to get it out
quickly , im confident that its not just my device and its a screen issue,
it uses the same technology that the iphone uses . where the digitiser is
fused to the LCD screen, and what this mean is the pixels are closer to the
top of the screen, which makes it pop and there closer to your fingertips,
however, like the iphone, the response is not as good as the traditional
way
Here's another observation about the pinch-zoom issue: Firefox Mobile does
not exhibit the problem, leading me to believe that Mozilla implemented
pinch-zoom with a custom approach, and hinting that for the poor stock
behavior, this is a software/driver problem that CAN be fixed.
There are only benchmarks. Thanks for the video, but I think normal user
will not see those 500ms difference between Nexus 4 and iPhone 5. What
makes best browser best are quick controls in AOSP browser which makes
surfing "thumb-only" passible. Peace.
So overall performance seems smooth, not smoother than any others i showed,
but smooth enough Ok so Benchs :-) : Sunspider :1645 PeaceKeeper : for some
reason it wouldnt load Browsermark : 1790 HTML5 : 406+ 12 Hope this helps
ya :-)
Strange thing though, chrome on the optimus G works better than stock
browser. It doesn't benchmark better but its smoother in moving around the
page and pinch to zoom. Also loads pages faster than stock browser on my
friends Gs3.
Hey dude the reason it takes a while to pinch to zoom is because the
capacitive screen is merged with the glass it's a new technology I forgot
what it's called but I saw it on another video I don't like it but it is
what it is.
Hey Oode good day.. just want to ask you how much did u pay for that nexus
4 and nexus 10 device? (Nexus 4 - $Price + tax) and (Nexus 10 - $Price +
tax).. We're planning to go to US to buy..
Yea , I noticed your name come up a few times ... Well I can't be 100% sure
. but to me it seems like a software issue . I mean atm I don't find it
horrible . its just a tad annoying
BUT it maybe helpful to make bigger "hype", which people like sometimes. I
personaly would like to see some 60 or 120FPS video of how smooth the os is
in N4:) Are you able to do so?
Ii have the optimus G, same hardware as Nexus 4. It doesn't have the screen
lag issue in pinch to zoom like the Nexus 4. it must be a driver or some
other software issue on Nexus 4
looks like the pinch-to-zoom delay issue is NOT hardware related. same
hardware on optimus g, which does not suffer from this at all:

i very much doubt it, iv seen it in other reviews as well... in XDA theres
a whole thread about it , i guess the people that say its perfect are not
really looking lol
Its the same tech used on the iphonr " incell" but i dont think thats the
reason for the pinch to zoom delay, i made a video on firefox , and it
works perfectly
Nexus 10 AOSP vs Chrome browser
Just a quick video browsing the Verge showing how well AOSP works compared to Chrome on the Nexus 10 EDIT: How to install Flash: ...
Use Root Explorer or ES File Manager, mount R/W, go to System/App, find
BrowserProviderProxy.odex and rename it to something else, mount R/O,
reboot, and it'll work.
it worked!! renamed the file and installed apk from root explorer! Thank
You! i wanted to get stock browser and didnt want to lose chrome and
finally i can do that!
