JamUp Pro by Positive Grid (there is also a free Lite version). I both
teach and gig (though not necessarily at the same time), and I am so
impressed by the sound of this app that I use it in both these situations.
Yes, I gig with an iPad and an app! When I used it at the first rehearsal
of my band The Love Marbles the singer thought the iPad was there as a
prompt for chords; he was stunned when he learned that all the sounds he'd
heard were from the app. Chappers, I thoroughly recommend it :)
Hey chappers I have never contacted you via email because I have no clue
how to xD and I wanted to show you a link to an audio demo I made with
garage band iPhone app and just wondered whether you would be interested in
taking a look at the quality from the mobile :) Sorry to use this as my way
of emailing xD
*Heaves a glorious sigh of relief as a result of the intensity from the
lack of proper guitar jam apps in the android market; many are residing in
the apple/ itunes market for the ipeople to use. That's right, bitches, I'm
using semicolons in a Youtube comment. Wut.*
Hey guys, Rick here from Ninebuzz -- just want you to know this is a BIG
app, make sure you clear your SD card before installing. After the
expansion pack it is about 250MB total! If you have any other questions,
you can reach me directly here >> [email protected]
LEFT HANDED/SOUTHPAW TYPE INDIVIDUAL!?!?!?! lol honestly i don't think many
lefties would use the feature though, considering we are used to you right
handed biznitches and the scales actually mirror the neck when the
instructor is opposite
Some additional apps to checkout/review would be GuitarToolkit and
TabToolkit by Agile Partners. GuitarToolkit particularly. The reverse chord
lookup and scale reference charts are very handy for the guitarded
non-theory types like myself.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..........(breaths
in).....
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....
and so on
This is cool to know! I'm an Android user, but for curiosity's sake, could
you maybe review some of those iPhone/iPad amplifier+effects emulators like
Amplitube and whatnot? AFAIK there aren't any of those for Android
(unfortunately) :(
Hey Monkey Lord! Could you teach us the rhythm part for White Rose? It's
just about the grooviest thing I've ever heard and I'd love to learn it. I
could listen to that for hours and never get tired of it.
A very good free similar app to this is one called 'Jambox'. It's got all
the scales and modes ansd chords in all different keys laid out on the
fretbord! It's good shit!
Mr. Chapman, this guitar sounds awesome. However, while I know it can rock,
how would it do with jazz tones? Sincerely, your friends in Connecticut,
USA.
