Changing resolution back and forth from 1080p to 720p on my nexus 5, there
is a noticeable difference but only in certain places. Those places are
zoomed out text in the web browser and graphics intensive games. The
sharpness difference is, In my opinion, very noticeable if you constantly
web browse, but for the most part, 1080p is overkill so I use 720p for less
power usage.
I wanna help my parents choose their next phone (they're not power users).
Which phone should I choose: Samsung Galaxy SIII, Sony Xperia Z, or iPhone
5/5C?
Difference between 720p and 1080p? Absolutely ZERO to the visually
impaired. Adding a screen reader that works properly and that fully sighted
people will also find useful is a much better upgrade!
My 20/20 vision sees a difference and I can still make out the slightest pixels with the 1080p.....Does it bother me... hardly..... why? because I focus on the content that is shown on the screen more
That Launcher is so awesome what's it called, I like the UI's for Windows
and Some Apple devices, but I just don't like the overall hardware, I think
android is great, the stock launcher is pretty rubbish lol
I often switch between Android and iOS and I found that in iOS 7 if you scroll during an user interface change (maybe you tap a Back button...), you have to wait ...
I'm going to check this out on a android b/c I don't see how touching the
screen mili seconds after returning to its previous page before I even know
what I'm looking for make iOS ui crappy. I've androids on home screens
stuck. I would imagine that would be a worst experience....but hey to each
his own iOS 8 in less than a week with new devices.
iPhone 5S 30 day challenge week 2 update. After using the iPhone 5S running iOS7 I have decided to stop my 30 day challenge. Find it out why and what my ...
it makes me so angry to see him were an apple t-shirt. Its like as if he
hates apple but wants to hide it with the t-shirt.
100 things iPhone still can't do made me hate watching this guy.
he named the most stupidest things ever especially the kitkat thing.
Fuckin damn! All these idiots protecting their precious iPhones and Android
phones smdfh. If a person didn't like THAT phone like YOU did, it doesn't
make them an idiot or ignorant or overall douche. And any person who thinks
this way should be taken out back like Old Yeller. The phone just simply
isn't for them, it just doesn't fit with their personality or the user
experience wasn't as great like it was for you. When a phone is great, it
should just come out at you without working so hard to figure out its
capabilities. If you love iPhones with all its glory, it's beautiful
design, beautiful display, it's cute 4" retina screen that allows you the
abilities to only use one hand like your other hand is chopped off or
missing, it's awesome web browsing experience, it's millions of apps
available, and it's simplicity, THEN STICK WITH IT. Enjoy it. Don't fuckin
going bashing on an Android/BlackBerry/Windows/any other phone users. Geez
it fuckin makes you look like a pretentious douche bragging about what
phone you have and why it's better than everybody else. This of course goes
out to Android users as well. If you love your Android experience and all
its glory it has to offer, THEN STICK WITH IT. Enjoy it. Leave them iPhone
users alone. Same for Windows and BlackBerry and etc etc etc... It's an
ongoing post and I'm aware of that, but my point is... .IT'S JUST A PHONE.
A phone that any users can turn into whatever it is they wanna turn it
into. So what, my iPhone can do this but your Windows phone can't, my
Android phone can do this but who owns a BlackBerry anymore?? My Boost
Mobile can do this but why dafuq am I still using it?? Your iPhone is your
iPhone, and their Android phone is their Android phone. Leave it alone and
the person chosed what they wanted and that's that, so what. Stop tryna
live in a fuckin communist world where everything must be followed by
one!!!
This is Tommy Thang's rant and we thank you for choosing Tommy Thang.
First off. I really think it depends on where you come from. For myself, I
started with an iPhone 4 and it was the best phone that I've ever used at
that time. Everything was fluid, fast and responsive (something Android
phone couldn't have) , but Project Butter made Android lag free, but that's
another story for another day.
I then switched to iPhone 5. It continued to have that same amazing
experience that I had about iPhone. Everything was working well and just
like iPhone 4 that I had previously.
I soon purchased a Nexus 7 running the latest Android OS. The experience
was great, it didn't took any amount of learning to me. Implying that
Android is still as simple to use as iOS. Almost everything that it did
surpassed what the iPhone could do.
There's one thing that always bring me back to iOS. Which is the stability
and how that I have a feeling that it's always there for me when I need it.
It will not fail, work in a weird or abnormal manner. With the iPhone, you
can always expect the same thing. Of course, it's just my feeling about
iPhone.
Most users that started with Android will almost never move to iOS.
Considering how limiting iOS is. iOS users will always miss the
'expectable' feeling and experience with iOS products.
Also, I do code apps for Android, and it is a lot of work without
proper/professional tool like XCode.
+John Williams1. -"Dude calm the hell down"How can I calm down when I'm not even mad? I'm elaborating. I can't believe you misinterpreted that greatly on an articulate elaboration like that. This is what happens when you are limited to comments, prone to misinterpretation. Like I was using all caps and profanity in there..2. -"obviously you've never held an HTC One"I have held an HTC One before and I'm holding one right now.3. - "you would know damn well it's the more premium of the android phones"I know XD!, You just repeated what I've been thinking."So I replied with my opinion "I think the iPhone of android is the HTC One." which literally means the HTC One is the most premium looking and the best build quality among the Android phones."4. -"I meant no harm about it whatsoever so plug you patch up because you're speaking like you're on your period"See no. 15. -geez and btw whether or not you actually used the words compare or not saying the iPhone was to the Z1 or Z2 was comparison of the premium or build quality check your context clues it's basic English.""I think the iPhone of android is the HTC One."Context clue: "iPhone of android"OK I think this is all cleared up. Hopefully.Alright take care.
+Mark Wall Heizer Dude calm the hell down and obviously you've never held an HTC One because you would know damn well it's the more premium of the android phones I meant no harm about it whatsoever so plug you patch up because you're speaking like you're on your period...geez and btw whether or not you actually used the words compare or not saying the iPhone was to the Z1 or Z2 was comparison of the premium or build quality check your context clues it's basic English.
There was no comparison being done... AT ALL.The first opinion was "Z1 or Z2 was the iPhone of android". The implication was, which among the Android phones is the "most premium" or the best in "build quality", the iPhone literally has nothing to do with it.So I replied with my opinion "I think the iPhone of android is the HTC One." which literally means the HTC One is the most premium looking and the best build quality among the Android phones. The iPhone was only used an adjective, nothing else.
+Mark Wall Heizer lol i wouldn't say iPhone lol i don't like to compare my beautiful HTC to that but i see what you mean and yes that would be correct.
Yo peeps! So while all of my iPhone friends were busy gawking over the look of ios 7, I was busy getting together a few apps to make poke fun at their update.
yeah the compaq and the palm pilot as well as motorola and others. That
market died out in the late 90's. If it weren't for apple there wouldn't be
a tablet market. They made a market for their device unlike IBM who tried
before them and failed, the same goes for the smart phone market. You can
keep naming other companies but the truth is Apple made it what it is
today.
ANDROId fanboys dont want to because they whine about how its not open
source and how you can customize, but what they fail to realize is that
some people don't need to know how to fuck up their phone. People are
retarded when it comes to anything with an OS.
You should give this launcher a try, Espier Launcher iOS7, given that it is
a bit laggy at times, but it does do a good job replicating the iOS7
horrible looks and feel.
Wait, wait, wait... Did I miss something? I've been using Apple Products,
mainly the iPhone, for years and never once have I had a problem or
complaint about the company or its products. On the other hand, my dad has
the Samsung Galaxy S5, and before that, the S3. He's had nothing but
problems with his S3, which Samsung claims to blow the iPhone 5 out of the
water, but when put against each other in a simple speed test, the iPhone 5
CLEARLY is the better phone. In speed, graphics, and obviously the camera.
He doesn't have many problems with his S5, but my old iPhone 5, and new 6
both completely destroy his Samsungs performance. And we can't forget about
camera quality. Megapixels do not equal good camera quality. As we can see
by numerous camera tests. iPhone cameras have been proven to be one of the
best smartphone cameras available. To conclude, don't judge or hate people
based on their preference in technology. Apple's ecosystem is way more
stable, efficient, and simple than any android product/s. Yes, I love
Apple, as do many people. And lots of people love android. Let's close our
mouths and compare Geekbench scores. And android lovers, stop trying to
compare junk to gold :)
There's no way in hell android is better than iphones, for starters Apple
gets all the apps first so you don't have to wait for the android version
to come out months or years later, also there are so many buggy moments
with android and it slows down a lot, there's also too much extra bullshit
you have to do for android, Apple is one system for everything, but on
android, you need to buy memory cards to get extra memory and even then
your phone still says "memory full" it automatically updates all its shitty
Google apps and there's always a new update every fuckin day cuz they're
always trying to fix how shitty they all are, and lastly it's just simpler
on iPhone, with things like imessage and face time and being able to have
emojis without having to download a bunch of bullshit to get them
you don't have to download stuff to get emojis.. emojis come with the default google keyboard, and also android is more custom and whatever you want on the screen, and on apple everything is the same you can't have 3rd party apps, you can't download free music on apple, unless the apple music store makes it free, because that's the only scourge you get music, android isn't buggy, and neither is apple, but studios show android 5.1 and 6.0 and sometimes 4.4 ( depends on the phone ) are faster than apples iOS 7 8 and 9. and to do the stuff we can do on android you have to jailbreak your device
One simple reason why Apple is smarter than Android? They have ONE and only
one brand. You don't see generic iPhones or MacBooks. Know why? It's too
much trouble optimizing a OS for a variety of brands and builds, that's why
you get inconsistent performance of apps and games on android, you got your
cheapy brands and your better brands, it can't accommodate all these
different types of specs, at least you'll get the same performance from a
app one iPhone to another. You can't say the same with different brands of
Amdroid.
Because Apple isn't open source like android. It doesn't make them better actually prevents them from hundreds of things you can do on android. Download third party apps. open apps and edit them. make custom mods to your firmware. replace your entire firmware with a 3rd party one to your liking. the posibilities are endless.
Good for you. Bear in mind that that's your opinion, and what I said is my opinion. There is no better than another. By the way, if you failed to notice, I just said Apple is smarter, nowhere in that comment did I say anything about Apple being better. You just chose to see the mention of Apple.
Ahhhh but at least android is f**** affordable and also i think choice is better then having to go for one brand if ya wanna argue me im more then happy! Yours, you apple fanboy
