Dude I did everything you said and my wiimote wouldn't connect. (It's not a third party wiimote and it's not a wiimote plus) PLEASE HELP!!

it only activates while dongle is connected.Cuz google does not support bt pairing for gamepad, such as dualshock, wiimote etc.. after updating for 4.2+ android.I used 'usb-bt joystick app' to connect them only via external bt dongle (csr 4.0)

There isn't any support for KitKat. The app works well for devices with android version 4.1 and 4.2

There are other apps that work with Kitkat, starting version 4.1 they started updating the Bluetooth API meaning app that work with the Wii Mote need to be recorded to work on those versions.

Not compatible with all phones nor Android 4.2+.Play games with a Wii remote on your Android device!Incompatibility update: Android 4.2+ is not compatible with this app. The reason for this is that Google changed an essential bluetooth component in this version of Android. We are looking for a solution.
