+Jimmy Peña all I'm saying is the build quality is trash, so we'll see how long though blazing speed s will hold up. not to mention the software issues with playback, and that's just the tip of the ice berg.
+superspoon0 So you're saying a phone is trash because of a stress test? You're a little too biased by saying it is trash, the device is highly capable with one of the highest specs you can get currently with a solid camera and a blazing fast fingerprint scanner... It's debatable in the taste department however saying it is trash isn't debatable, it is clearly a well made phone.
You'll barely notice you're holding this Samsung tablet

i have an iPad air i go to high school with it without a case on and in a year and a half i have minimal scratches but i guess the cheaper plastic is more durable. i just like the form factor in apple
+calsta619 Actually, no. They add weight and thickness. I'm paying lots of money for a lightweight tablet that's comfortable to handle, and a case completely defeats the purpose. YMMV.
WAIT! did she said "black, white, and gold"? hmmm idk maybe probably i
think it sounds like "apple colors" is Samsung really not that creative to
make their own colors.
They used to have "Menstruated pink", "Shitty Blue" but they ditched them because they were ugly enough for even them and they copied Apple with samsung's "Vomit Gold" long life other brands except Samsung
+Vic Vil it also depends on the distance you'll be sitting from the screen. In the case of a tv, you'll be sitting a few feet away, so a 1080p tv won't appear bad... But for a 27" tablet you'll he holding it close to your face, so the same 1080p tablet won't look good

+Melvin Ray Spence III It's for portable use. It's a table top computer that can turn into a desktop. It's not something you fit in your backpack, but something that you fit into your car for a presentation or demonstration.
+Skip Aj I'm not supporting the device but he means in a backpack or suitcase, if you're travelling. It's more convenient than most AIO or desktop computers.
Me too!!...But I didn't notice a camera lens on it so I might not get one.Hahahahaha!!!
Sony's Xperia Z2 tablet is super-skinny but searingly powerful
//cnet.co/1fLfUnk The Sony Xperia Z2 tablet is loaded with a monstrously powerful processor, a great full HD display and the latest version of Android, ...
you need that bezel on there to place your fingers on the sides without
interfering with the screen.. why don't people want bezels on tablets
anymore??
+Winston Churchill dude, you serious? -.- there's nothing wrong with spelling it as boi lol. and it should be "it's", not its. Get your spelling right before you correct mine lol, get a life.
+Andrew Acacia it still functions no matter what but it doesn't detract from what I said its fucking ugly! The best tablet on the market is yes you got it the iPad air by a mile. And by the way its boy not boi you retard .
Because it doesn't look as good. Tablets like the iPad have clever software which detects if your hand is inputting the display or just holding the device. It works perfect
+Redspeed93You're the second person to say it has 4 front facing speakers. It doesn't. It has 2 horribly placed speakers that Sony claims are front facing.
+DanielNo, it has 2 speaker slits on the bottom side corners. Sony thinks this placement won't be covered by hands, which I think is totally wrong and stupid. They should've put them on the top corners of the top bezel or in the actual stupid thick side bezels.
Look carefully around the corners, it has 4 front facing speakers, each at a different corner. Android Authority said it's one of the best sounding tablet out there
If you already have am excite 10 se there is no need to upgrade to the
excite pure, the are basically the same resolution and power. try the pro
or write instead. ( 2gb of ram, 8 mp camera and quad core tegra 4)
lol, ipad has processor that destroys tegra 3,screen that is 10times better
apps store that no other tablet can touch and designe and quailty of
materials this thing can only dream about
I know what RAM can do to a system and how much it can play a role on a tablet's performance but this isn't a mid tier tablet in which you consider as standard. It is a budget oriented tablet. That being said, most if not all of the tablets within this price range are going to have 1GB of RAM.-Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 1.5GB of RAM still expensive-Asus MeMo Pad 7 1GB of RAM-Acer Iconia One 7 1GB of RAMDell is just being ordinary. Since when does Dell become unordinary anyway?I'm not saying that 1GB of RAM is more than enough, because it certainly isn't but I highly doubt you can find a brand new tablet with 2gb of ram that starts at $159 retail and probably $10-20 off online and stores. And please do not jumped to conclusions. I have a Galaxy Tab 3 7" (with 1GB of RAM mind you) and a OnePlus One. And the only reason I came to this review is because I was looking for a budget tablet as my Tab 3 crapped out on me.
+YourName when you use an android tablet (which sounds like you haven't) a 1GB RAM is bottlenecked speed even with a 'good' processor it runs out of memory to run heavy apps, especially multitasking. Therefore 2GB+ of RAM lightens the load of choking and can handle the OS much smoother. Besides 1GB RAM was 3yrs ago standards, no excuse to not step it up...
Unless you want the 1.5GB Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 which for one doesn't have the 1920x1200 display of the Venue 8. Plus, in order to get that 16gb of flash storage you'd be stepping into Nexus 7 territory minus all those amenities.1GB of RAM for what the Venue 7 and 8 are worth is well within the competition. Sure Dell doesn't have a flagship Android tablet with high specs, but that isn't what they're in the market for.Kind of dissapointed that the outgoing model had 2GB of RAM though and decided to half that for the new one. But I guess a faster chip and a better camera makes up for that.
I will never buy a Dell product or service their computers are built poorly
they even sometimes explode! (true story) put a Dell in front of my face I
will need a sledgehammer and 10 minutes.
Dell released a newer Venue 7 and 8 Android lineup.Apparent lighter bodies and faster processors for both tablets. The 8 gets a 1920x1200 display. The 7 gets a better front and rear facing camera (identical cameras on both) and 802.11ac wireless that supports Miracast. KitKat from the factory, and downgrades to 1GB of RAM.
