Apologies - Ive been using the GoPro connected to the 2amp port and it works perfectly fine - keeps the internal GoPro battery charged while powering the camera at the same time. I get more then enough time to fill over 2 64GB cards without the need for any extra power!

The Gopro should only be powered at 1 Amp as per Gopro. Powering at higher amperage can damage your camera.

You don't understand how it works. Amps are drawn not pushed. A device will only draw the power that it needs.

Amperage doesn't harm any device. Volts does. Amperage is the strength of power and volts is how much comes out.

hey man great video!! i need help though when i connect my iphone 6 to the charger after a couple seconds i get an error message "accessory not supported" and then it wont charge the iphone. help please.

iPhones need the accessory to tell it that it's charging, so you will need an extra part. Just Google 'how to make a portable iPhone charger' and you should get the result (or, you know, get an Android phone ;) )

+SiCoope Few days ago i tried to do another charger with bigger capacity ,but module which i was using was not supporting smartphones ,it only gave out 5v with out resistance in data ports. Huge fail for me ,always check electronic descriptions. So thats why i wont be able to make anything for atleast month or two ,because of slow ebay shipping.

So if I were to build a charger to charge the phone for longer. Would you suggest using two or four 9v or 4 D size batt.? I know 4 D's is about 6 volts compared to the 9 you get with a 9v...
