+Charlie 815 stop it...Samsung Pay is supported everywhere Android Pay is and in even more places than Android Pay or Apple because of the MST Technology. It's seriously a win, win. Which surprises me because Samsung usually doesn't do things right on the first try.
The best camera is the one that you can take loads of 'blind' (or point and
shoot) photos and are consistently good and you don't have to stop 2
minutes to adjust the settings or to change from jpeg to raw to take a
photograph or like with this control environment to see the actual
performance/quality .
Heh, what are those 3 words, predictable, consistent, reliable. Yeah, in an ideal world.Real world with hugely variable and at times terrible lighting means test shots. Get used to it. With any camera.
If anybody wants a DSLR-picture quality camera just get a mirror-less like
the Sony a6000 or NEX-5T you'll get the same as a DSLR but in half the
weight and size how does that not sound appealing to people?
+Nawnp MCPE That is definitely lag, what app was it? I never experienced that kind of behaviour on my S4 and not so far on my S5.off-topic: I just had an update today, but I have no idea what it was. It was 112MB in size and I am still on KK 4.4.2 after it.There is one thing that everyone seems to forget here - no products are identical. You could buy 4 Fords and find that one was super reliable and literally never broke down in 15 years; 2 were fairly reliable and one was a disaster and constantly broke down. You would also find if you lined them up and raced them that they would slightly vary in performance... one may even be considerably more responsive than the others. Why should phones be any different? 10 S5s don't lag and one does? 10 iPhones don't lag, one does (some iPhones do lag!!)This is where I think a lot of arguments get heated. We each argue/debate from our personal experiences. How can someone convince me my phone is crap when it has been absolutely brilliant from day one and exceeded all of my expectations? Conversely, how can I convince a "now" iPhone lover that S5s are better than iPhones when his S5 crashed all the time, lagged and was basically a piece of crap? I have to admit though that I see a few tall-tales on both sides of the fence pretending they had phones which they never actually had. A good giveaway is when they are clueless about the phone they pretended to have.
+Nawnp MCPE So many Samsung phones "used to" lag, but my S4 had no lag after JB 4.2. Before that it lagged a little and stuttered when scrolling long lists (e.g. My contact list). There are 2 apps which are very slow at firing up, even on the S5, but that has nothing to do with lag! Lag is a delay before something starts reacting to input. Those 2 slow apps are the camera and gallery apps. All other apps open instantly. I'm sure lower end Samsungs might lag and may even be slow, but the S4, S5 and Note 2, Note 3 and Note 4 don't lag with a relatively recent version of Android. As I said, don't confuse a poorly programmed slow opening app as being a laggy phone.
Eric Melendez I can understand why that is, 1-the cameras got all those things like "laser stabilization" that lag it. 2-It advertises itself as first 1440p phone, also known as first to be 100% spec, but all lag, and the "tap to unlock" features are very "as if" things, in other words-gimmicky features.
Every time I use a android device it lags. My friend has a LG G3, it lags, it changes stuff on her, the camera has a laggy frame rate (I've noticed this with any phone that isn't either brand new or an iPhone) many of the "features" that the phone has work only whenever they want to, such as double tapping to unlock or lock the phone. That feature only works sometimes, (double taps, nothing happens, double taps again, turns on but the second double tap turns it back off again)
+Charles Joseph Stop lying!!! My dad still has a Note 2 and even it does not lag. I cannot stand childish liars who make things up just to support their weak arguments.
+Eric Melendez if I was buying an iPhone I'd definitely go for the 6+, but that's because the camera has OIS, I prefer larger screens and the battery lasts a LOT longer. Only you know what is important to you, so why ask others without saying what's important for you? I'm an Android user because it is far better for my needs and I'd never ask anyone for their opinion on what I should buy.
The best smartphone camera of 2015 For years, if you wanted the best smartphone camera, the decision was easy: iPhone all the way. Android smartphones ...
