What the hell did you do to Zagat??? Where is all the content that has been collected for the past 34 years!?!?! Where's suburban NYC? Where's the Hudson River Valley?? You've got to be kidding!!! You buy Zagat and then destroy it, just to get access to a group of loyal followers whose contacts, info, likes and dislikes you can mine for the greater good of the Google-opoly. You suck!
Yeah. And I was about to look for restaurants in Spain! Nada! And you can't vote until the Featured survey. How good is your memory of all the restaurants you've visited in the past year?

We've launched the new zagat.com and mobile app for Android and iPhone, and both put the very best restaurants and nightspots right at your fingertips.
Is there a User Guide or Tutorial for former members (and senior, I might
add) to help us find the easy, simpler search modes that were available,
"front and center" on the old site. Would appreciate a more obviously
placed click button for more complete alphabetic lists by neighborhood or
location within city. I find the new site gives me lots of info I am NOT
interested in and seem ot have to wade through before I can find the means
to search for what I need. Perhaps I am not using the site correctly.. a
Tutorial would be VERY helpful.
It stinks! Whatever happened to the concept of real info for real people
about places really liked? It looks like one long, elevator-music,
jazzed-up ad w/little to know meaning. Makes my taste buds crawl! Please--
a little compassion for diners once more, with valid reviews about
exceptional and at least hopefully-interesting places. Fire this director
and get competency back in.
"Lists" seems to have completely lost the concepts of YOUR wishlist, YOUR
favs list, BEEN HERE or other custom lists. That was one of the stickiest
parts about the old site. Open Table is slightly better, but I right now
I've resorted to keeping my own lists in EverNote (at least I know they
won't toss them away). So far, this re-make is really a terrible travesty,
Google.
Well, at least the search function still lets you filter by neighborhood
and ratings, but they handicapped it (intentionally?)...if you click on a
restaurant to find out, let's says its address, when you go back to your
search results all you filters have been removed. A painful UX!
Surprisingly bad job, Google
The new website and app suck compared to the previous versions. Totally
killed the best resource to finding a great restaurant near you! Now I have
to use lame apps like yelp or open table.... Normally you want to take
something good and make it better, in this case they made it worse.
Google??? The new Zagat makes me shake my head and wonder how your company
ever got to where it is now. The new app is so clunky and tedious,
certainly not elegant or simple to use. Google is still my first choice for
web searches, but from now on for restaurants, I'll use Yelp.
The new Zagat site is a total flop as far as usefullness goes. Go back to
what you had that was useful, manageable, handy and welcoming, and gave
Zagat the popularity bit had. I can't find any reason to turn to the "new
Zagat." Ugh!
What a disappointment. Google has taken what was a nice app and made it
completely useless. Where is the "Most Popular" list? Back to the drawing
board. Hurry!
